As this guild is built to help writers of all skill levels, I will design my classes to work from the bottom up working from the basics of using figurative language effectively, to the more complexities of working plot and character deffinitions seamlessly into an excellent piece.
While it is possible to develope yourself through your own creative imagination and wit, it is much easier and often more effective to learn techniques from other esteemed writers. I will often ask my students to do imitations of other writer's styles. I will post a sentence, a paragraph, or an idea established by another writer, and I will ask students to imitate the writer's style, but use the students own thoughts and materials.
Any questions on the class as a whole can be asked here and will be adressed here. But if you have questions on individual lessons, I ask that you ask the questions in the respective class threads.
I can promise that I will be on here at least once weekly, but I will try to be on at least once daily.
If you're interested in taking my classes, I ask that you post at least once here in this thread saying that you are. This way, I will know to look at your works that you post more often and give you advice with refference to what I have worked with in the classes.

There are additional threads for each lesson I teach. The list of lessons in the intro posts of this thread is a table of contents telling you what thread topics to look for to take a class.
You can post your fan-fic in the fan-fiction subforum of this guild, in your personal file, and in the class if the lesson calls for a work. (If you havn't started a personal file, there's instructions on how to do so in the personal file subforum.)

Absolutely! No deadlines, just do the classes and assignments in order when you have time for them.

In class, you first post the homework, read the lesson, then do the after class assignment.
You post anything that you wrote for the homework, reguarless of wether it's fan-fiction, fiction, or non fiction.
In class, we will only be critiquing your work for the how you employed the lesson in the after class assignment. so if you want more critique, you may want to re-post it in the fan-fiction subforum.
Did I explain that well, or was I still fuzzy on some points?

That's perfectly fine, I'm here for any and all questions.
You can post anything that was written by you whether you just did it, or it's from some time ago.
Either's fine.
