8 Lines (Traveling to Wind Country) ninja

Rohan seemed unfazed by the boy's speech as he simply clapped his hands. "That's a nice speech and all but we still have a very long list of things in which to fully secure out village." Metsuki looked to the Council member with a sigh and spoke out momentarily. "Hmm please tell me what needs to be brought back to life and I shall grant it with the responsibilities I've been given." Rohan looked to Metsuki and Washi in question before answering the young Raikage's question. "The hospital is failing, thus as a result more of our people are dying of diseases, The market is short on income thus no new products have been able to come in meaning less shinobi graduate each month." Metsuki looked to Rohan and smirked slightly. "put what ever funding you need into making the issues go away, then leave the rest in my office, I have goals in which I'm going to see happen. Now if you'll excuse me I'll be off to my office" Rohan looked to the young Raikage once more in amazement just before falling into train of thought. Perhaps He does know what's best for this village, I pray that he leads us into the heaven's once more and out of the depths of hell.... Washi looked to his older brother with a smile. "So if you're Raikage now what does that make me?" Washi's arms folded over that of his head as he questioned his new respectable brother. "That makes you my personal guard Washi, you'll have no rank but you'll be by my side to protect the title if I shall fall..." Washi unfolded his arms and stopped walking and stared at Metsuki. "You wouldn't fall....you couldn't you've been chosen for the Raikage seating for a reason brother... your the one who will bring us to the heaven's once more." Metsuki stopped and turned to his younger brother for a final time. "There are those that will come to challenge my place as Raikage and I will accept no matter what... it's my duty to die in battle now if that is the truth behind my chosen heritage right" washi looked to his brother and threw a thumbs up. "Brother I'll die before I let you die for your country! no matter what we'll save this country and each other if we have to!" once more the brothers smiled at each other before walking towards the hidden village of lightning, what awaited them beyond the great walls of destiny, there's only one way to find out.

Jin plopped down on the edge of his bed and threw his head into his hand. He had graduated the academy but... The hell is with the kage? What an a** hole. Jin snorted loudly to himself and turned his head onto one fist. Having the other hand freem Jin brought his fingers together to mimic someone talking. "Blah, blah, blah. I'm know your name and I'm singling out, but I'm not here for you. Blah, blah, blah. I'm just some snot nose brat that was thrown into the seat of Kage before I've even grown ball hairs." Throwing both his fists into the side of his bed Jin growled angrily at the wall before him. "What the hell was whoever that did this thinking? They took a genin and made him into the Raikage? Really? REALLY? This is just bullshit. If they were going to put young blood on the seat, they should've put someone intelligent. Someone awesome. Someone with potential. Someone... like me!"

Jin smiled at the thought and stood up from his bed. Sticking his hand into his pocket quickly, he grabbed his new head band and pulled it out. He turned the head band over a few times before finally placing it down and retrieving a kunai. Carefully he removed the metal plate from the cloth. Taking his shirt off and laying it gently on the bed, Jin went to work at fastening the head band onto the chest of the shirt, making sure to carefully place the plate right over the place where it would cover his heart.

Proud of his work, Jin quickly slipped back into his shirt and looked at himself in the mirror. "Now, whose that sexy guy? Oh! That's the next Raikage, that's who." Jin grinned widely to himself before turning away from the mirror and making his way to his door. He stopped just short of the exit however and turned to look at the large red and white spear that rested against the wall.



Tonbogiri... It was his prized possession... And now that he was a genin, it would be his prized choice of weapon. Strapping the spear to his back, Jin quickly rushed out of his house and back into the main part of the village.

-A few minutes later-

"Nice doll. Planning to have a tea party today?" Jin asked with a chuckle as he walked up to Sora.

Jin chuckled again. Shaking his head, he ruffled his own hair. "Oh yea, that's right. You're that shy guy from the academy. It's ok. I didn't mean to tease you out your toy." Jin said in a mocked politeness before turning away from Sora and looking more closely at the puppet. "You know... If you really wanted something like that to be effective in battle a good idea would be to fit a mechanism in it's chest and fill it's entire body with chains. The mechanism, the name of it I can't remember at the moment, would feed the chains in and out and would allow for a larger range and also make the puppet more dense. Harder to hurt you know. Plus..."

Jin turned away and grabbed a nearby branch that stood out from the lumber pile. Looking back at the puppet, he jabbed at the ball joints with the tip of the branch, "Those things are sore on the eyes... A person would automatically target such large joints. At least this way, if they try to pierce it they'll likely get their weapon stuck in the chains within. And even if that wouldn't happen, the chains would provide the arm would still be useful as a whip of sorts... But hey, just random ideas. Don't mind me, go back to your tea party." Jin said with another chuckle at the end, his hand lazily flicking the branch to the ground before Sora's feet.

72 Lines

Jin's eyes flew wide open as the jab came at his face and he just barely managed to side step out of the way. The rest of Sora's speech became a blurred mumble as anger swelled up in him. How dare he strike at him. He was only giving the damn fool advice about his own stinking doll. But no, he had to be a bloody moron and actually attack him. No wonder this country was going to the shits. They had shinobi like this in its academy, in its field and home, at it's head. The fools.

Grinding his teeth angrily, Jin watched as Sora moved to measure the puppets arm as though nothing was wrong. As though he had done nothing wrong at all. What a smug a** hole.

Slipping the Tonbogiri from it's sadle on his back, he twirled the long spear as he pumped his chakra into it causing an electric crackle to form around it. Pulling the spear to his body, Jin lunged out and swung the weapon side wise so to smack the pole of the spear into Sora's rib cage.

((realizing that using a puppet is going to be very hard. Gonna use up my chakra really quit. Guess I wont be upping my tai stats anytime soon. cry ))

Sora raised his hands towards the puppet, causing it to spring back into life. He already realized from the last blow that he did not have enough in him to make this fight last. He also knew very well that this kid was the recklace type, the type to strike with damn near everything he had despite his surroundings or his situation. Still though, he had no choice but to find away to get around that spear. He found himself in a bad situation. Normally he would be able to use his puppet to at least buy him some time, but thanks to the dishonerable practices of a fool he was left out in the open forced to fight a child who had no regard for the lives or property around him. Rather than formulate an attack Sora decided that the best thing to do would be to keep this tard from hurting anyone, the best way to do that would to get that weapon out of his hands. Children should not play with such things if they cant control their anger. The puppet side stepped three times before leaping up into the air doing a cross flip before landing both hands solidly on the spear and doing its best to wrestle it from Jin.
