History: Cruxis was born in a small village in the outskirts of the Land of Lightning grew up surrounded by illusion ever since he was a small child; his immediate family being street performers and making their living selling odd charms and potions; neither which did any good but which the higher class loved to purchase out of their own vanity.
This lifestyle had left him alone for most of his upbringing and he learned how to dwell deep inside books and at an early age started demonstrating great potential in genjutsu.
As the years passed, his powers grew with him and he quickly matched strength in prowess against his parents. However, on his ninth year they have both passed away; the mother first due to illness and the father a month after from loneliness.
Cruxis immediately left the small village, taking his books, a few trinkets of value, and a lute.
Upon starting his journey, Cruxis would go from city to city, performing odd tricks and plays to con people out of their money. As such, he knows many unimportant trades and he even developed a concept called Faulty Logic, the rest of which he'd probably explain to you whilst trying to sell you something.
However, he was eventually caught by a Jounin while attempting a con; and was taken directly to Hidden Cloud village. However, in an ironic twist of fate, his genjutsu talent he had used in so many pranks and cons before was stated as a powerful tool; and thus Cruxis was granted a pardon and sent to the Shinobi Academy for proper training.
Apart from a mild overuse of showmanship due to his upbringing, Cruxis has an odd habit of conversing with 'the great writer of my fate', whom most people have assumed is the boy's idea of a deity. Whoever this 'great writer' is, the two do not seem to get along, and it often leads to bystanders wondering just what has possessed Cruxis to scream into the sky out of frustration.

---Description: The Ryuugan (Dragon's) Eye is a unique trait that Cruxis possesses, inherited from his father. It is possibly a mutated offshoot distantly related to the Byakugan.
However, unlike the Byakugan and Sharingan; its power does nothing to enhance combative prowess; and instead is an eye designed to give Information to the user. In its most basic stage, the Ryuugan simply helps to improve eyesight, giving Cruxis 20/20 vision.
* Koudou Ryuugan: This stage allows the user to see the basic colors of charging chakra; that is to say chkara that is being utilized for jutsu. Using this, Cruxis can determine the elemental affinity of an opponent. This upgraded Ryuugan Eye can also help to deter the effects of Genjutsu.
