Low! Bass instruments give me music-gasms xd
One reason why I love playing bari sax. I just love the low notes.

I like both. xd To be more specific, I love hearing high notes when played well, and low notes when played well...although, I prefer to play low notes.

High notes. Mostly because I can play them, and awesomely. I can hit a triple C, on a good day, and make it sound amazingly jizztastic.

I love low notes because they provide depth in a piece of music and they don't often hurt my ears (refers to fourth octave C on the clarinet).

It depends on what song I'm playing. In Jazz band we are playing one song that is called Big Daddy Blues. That is when I like to play low. But we are also playing another song that I love to play high notes in. Baby Drives a Fast Car.

I hate playing low notes, but I enjoy hearing.
And I guess it depends on the instrument's range.
I love hearing notes on the C-string of a viola.
And I love hearing high notes on a french horn.
It definitely depends on the instrument.

Low notes on a tuba, I love them. It sounds awesome when half the section takes parts down a whole octave and gives it that subwoofer feel with the Bb and lower, especially pedal notes.

Well, I can play both pretty well. (Trombone) My range is pedal B-flat to this D (in bass):
-O- --- --- --- --- ------------------------- ------------------------- ----------------------- ------------------------- -------------------------
Yus yus. basically, my repertoire of parts in concert band goes from bass trombone and 3rd/4th trombone parts to 1st. 3rd trombone parts, I play an octave up. 1st trombone I play in the written octave Bass trombone I play in the written octave. It wouldn't be written for a bass if it wasn't supposed to be low. 8D
