 Here we explain each story as best as we can. We won't use cat names, save for the Clan leaders and a few warriors involved deeply in the plot.
Series 1., the Star Slayers, is displayed under our current Series, Iridescence.  A blighted light, a gilded stone, a twisted power.
It claws at the boundary and severs it, ripping holes that pour in gushes. So many anomalies-so many sufferers. Everything is tainted by its power.
And, as it is passed from greedy creature to greedy creature, its heart blackens, and it power boils. Now it is hidden somewhere-somewhere too close to home.
And all Dark Forest will break loose in search of it.
The only warning StarClan offered at the Moonpool was this: Be careful what you wish for.Book o1. PremonitionThe skies grow heavy with warning. The Clans are startled at the darkening light. Truth shall be revealed soon. StarClan revealed this prophecy at the past Moonpool visit: Colours abound and colours abode
Promises made and promises sold
The listful land shall suffer storming might
in a premonition of impending blight.[img]https://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz263/WTNC/Banners/StarSlayersText.gif" />  There is an imminent danger looming above the Clans. The ancestors of old are seeking revenge for their slayed bretheren, and their aim is deadly and precise. Their target is unknown, but they have a powerful shaman leader whose curses bring death upon the cats. He strikes on each full moon. Who can survive the onslaught of tragedies? The Clan's endurance is put to the test as terrible weapons are used in an attempt to destroy the Clans. The full Blue Moon will bring the final challenge.
*The Chapters below are the attacks used by these predators.  There is something strange spreading through the land. Beautiful white and violet flowers are making their way through the clans. They smell sweet, like honey, and softly blow in the wind, but the sap that drips from their petals are not that of honey. The thick liquid entices one to sleep in a never-ending nightmare, and until the medicine cats can find the remedy, the cats who have eaten the sap will remain asleep until they die. At the next full moon, a terrible thing will happen involving these deadly plants...
Thunderpaw of StormClan was the first to recieve the prophecy for this epidemic: "The next full moon will bring an endless torture to the clans. Beware the whispering flowers..."
*Note that kits and elders are most attracted to this sap/juice because it smells wonderful.
The remedy has been found! It is a brown plant called the "Dream Flower" because it gives good dreams. It tastes terrible, contrary to the poisonous flower's sweet taste, but it immediately begins to pull the infected out of the dream. Please begin searching and using this remedy so we can start the next chapter.  It all started when a spirit cat named Caesar warned SeaClan about a dangerous new challenge he called "the Madness." Then, a NightClan cat by the name of Nightstreak (Non- Playing character) consumed a strange vole who had white foam on its lips. A day later, Nightstreak wandered out of camp, and when his brother, Darkclaw, followed him, Nightstreak attacked, intentionally trying to kill him. He bit his brother, but his brother escaped, and ran back to camp. As Darkclaw cried for help, a StarClan cat took the opportunity to take over Darkclaw and deliver this message to the Clan:
"First comes pain, then comes anger.
It will eat away at your conscience
and you will wander astray.
Thus you will kill
everything you see
and spread the Madness on its way."
So what is the madness, really? Well, it's rabies. c: The Clan cats call it "the Madness."
Every infected cat will remain sane until 24 ours after they were infected, then they will go insane and begin biting everyone else. The Madness is spread by being bitten by an infected cat/animal or consuming infected prey. Symptoms within the first 24 hours include staring off into space, flaring temper, and strange bloodlust. Symptoms after the infected has gone insane include foaming at the mouth and stumbling absently around until something has been spotted that can be killed, and then the infected will attack said something until it is dead.
At the gathering, the Clans were attacked by a massive wave of infected prey, but they were able to defeat the entire wave, at the cost of some lives. Chosen cats from each Clans traveled to get the remedy for the Madness, a purple herb that resided in a meadow in the area of the Outlands that is somwhat closer to the Clans.
The meadow was guarded by two Star Slayers, Ravage and Comet. They are only in spirit-form and can't attack every cat without using all their life energy, which would kill them. So they just attacked certain cats until they ran close to being out of energy. They were dealt heavy damage by the warriors who journeyed there, and left wounded. Many warriors bore similar wounds.
The warriors returned to he Clans with the remedy, and soon the Madness was eradicated. The Slayers retreated, threatening to return with even more force.  The Slayers have mysteriously vanished. THe Clans feel at peace, for the Slayers must have given up. The Clans are slowly forgetting the ever-looming threat, shifting back to normal livelihood and focusing more on themselves, and particularly other territory.
Along with the love that's in the air for many warriors, kits are being born, and prey is slowly recovering from the Madness.
Despite the peaceful air, NightClan was planning an attack on SeaClan, which will shatter the peace. Somewhat. And as the events unfolded, Fathom, NightClan's leader, seemed to morph into a strange beast at the gathering, his body finally possessed by the demon who'd haunted him since he was a kit (though his soul was still stuck in his body). The demented leader then ran off, all the Clans witnesses. NightClan, now with only a half-leader (Lavenderstar) who couldn't recieve all her lives until Fathom was killed, became an easy target for the other Clans.
And then, Leopardstorm, Fathom's mate, was killed by the demon possessing Fathom just shortly after she gave birth to their kits. The trauma caused Fathom's spirit to flee its body finally, though nobody knows that, and somehow possessed the younger body of his son as the Demon, now in full control of Fathom's old body, runs around causing mayhem in Fathom's name.
It is rumored that Fathom was killed by a monster (not twoleg) after his mangled body was found, but the Demon is not yet dead and still haunts NightClan with a vengeance, for some reason targeting Lavenderstar's daughter, Purepaw.
Though NightClan was the only one to suffer during the time of peace, the storm begins to brew once more, and there is something dark heading the Clan's way...
*Note: NO CAT SHALL WARN OF THIS UNLESS THEY HAVE SPECIAL PERMISSION. Your cats can NOT mysteriously know this or warn others of it. You have to have me or Leopardstreak's permission first!  The Slayers have returned, bargained, cheated to get thir way. They have literally hired four different species of animals to eradicate the Clans. Pick them off, one by one. These animals were more than happy to comply, considering that they were all hurt by the Clans in some way. The Slayers went to these animals, promising the Clans' downfall. Yet no one could be sure; everything involving the Slayers in dangerous.
StormClan has been attacked by Bermuda, a vicious black wolverine. Her family was taken from her by the Clans, yet all of the warriors figured they were badgers. Blinded by rage and revenge, this wolverine will stop at nothing to defeat the Clan who destroyed her family.
SeaClan is being tormented by a nest of snakes- led by a majestic queen, Fang. Her followers will follow her to the end, and she refers to them as her pets. She is very capable of minipulation, and she has the taste for revenge. She was nearly killed by the Clans, yet it was the Twoleg who ultimately finished the job. She was taken to a strange place, and yet she was able to slither and find her way back to her true nest. She blindly accepted the quest of conquering SeaClan, with the promise of all the land in that paricular territory.
NightClan is being attaccked by a gang of foxes, led by the noble Blaze. This tod is complex, complicated. No one can guess his next move. He uses his intelligence to infiltrate the Clan, and is barking orders in his pack constantly. His family was also killed by NightClan, and that feeds him the perfect taste for revenge. The Clan does not yet suspect that this cunning mind is behind many attacks- indirect, that is.
The fourth and final demon are a band of eagles. They are targeting BreezeClan. The leader, Talon, leapt at the chance to attack and kill relatives of his former band- whose leader was Avalon, who exiled him because he tried to kill her son, who became BreezeClan leader. Galestar. Talon has his sights set on hurting Avalon, and what's a few Clan cats thrown in to make a difference? The eagle is out for revenge against Avalon and her flock, and who cares if the Clans get hurt in the process?
The Clan cats have begun to be tormented by these monsters. Warriors are disappearing, and everyone travels in pairs now. As the gathering nears, the cats remember the events that occured at the last gatherings when the Slayers were loose, and shudder in fear of what lurks when the biggest gathering of cats befalls them. StarClan is silent, but the Clan cats know. Only time can tell if they will survive...
The only message StarClan sends them is this seemingly incomplete prophecy:
Dusk and dawn, all the day
there are monsters on their way
travel alone and you'll never return
travel and groups and soon you will learn...
As the fighting progresses, the Clans find that even these cold-blooded enemies have hearts, and are in as much pain as the Clans themselves. It seems the Slayers are just playing with these enemies' emotions, tricking them into fighting for an unjust cause, but as the Clans defend themselves they find out more about their enemies than they could have ever imagined.  The traumatic and agonizing troubles that led the beasts to attack the Clan have been revealed. They each in turn lost their families and loved ones, and were told by the Slayers that the Clans were the ones who had killed them, but now even the Beasts doubt the Slayer's words as both Clan- and Beast-kind lose their friends to the battle.
Talon, the demented leader of the rogue flock, continuously torments BreezeClan, caring less about the Slayers and more about his personal revenge on Avalon, the leader eagle of his mother flock whom he tried to kill in an attempt for power. He drags the Clans into the quarrel, trying to use Avalon's adopted son, Galestar, as bait to kill her.
The other beasts suffer more with their own troubles, fighting for revenge as well, but for a different reasons; to avenge the fake murder of their brethren.
And, the final part of the prophecy made itself clear:
...the beasts of four have nothing to gain
but their own revenge upon those who are slain
Beware the gather for soon they too
will travel in groups and attack anew.
So the suffering the beasts have gone through become evident during the Gathering, as the Clans feared.
At the gathering, all four beasts attacked, successfully executing an ambush on the island and blocking the Clans from escape; and, they also launched a surprise attack on each Clan camp simultaneously. The Clans erupted in fighting, and as blood ran thicker than ever before, an all-out frenzy erupted.
Puresun convinced the foxes to leave without further battle as Blaze accused NightClan of the shameless murder they only half committed.
Galestar finally killed Talon after much struggle, dispelling eagles all around as they raced to freedom, free from tyranny.
Silverstar and Featherheart killed Bermuda and Tempest respectively. Featherheart killed to avenge the death of her mate, Oaktail, while Silverstar payed the evil leader-badger for the life she lost to her. Behemoth and Havoc, Bermuda's ruthless friends, were also killed. The wolverines were the only ones to be completely destroyed, for their lust for blood and pure evil proved too great to overcome and convince them to leave peacefully. They were the only beasts stupid enough to fight till the end, for no reason other than bravado.
Fang was finally defeated by Dragonfire to defend Moss-star, and the snakes were told to leave by their dying queen.
Countless warriors died that night, and more will, for the Slayers have finally come. Though, each beast group has now been set free, and their suffering has finally ended. The Clans now understand that though someone might be your enemy, that does not mean they do not suffer as you do, or love as you do. They have learned that every creature, no matter how different, has the ability to feel pain and love, hope and despair, and that is what ties every mortal creature together.
Though the evil Star Slayers will never seem relatable.  The descent has come.
Waves of prey are fleeing from the Clans-those from within the Clans are fleeing in the opposite direction of the Outlands, and those from the Outlands are fleeing through StormClan and past all the other Clans. All the Clans can determine is that something is arriving from the Outlands.
The Clans now have no prey to hunt with, and bellies start to rumble by nightfall. What in the world is going on?
StarClan gives only one clue.
Rise and tide cannot hide
the horrid evil approaching this night
Descent marks one of three
of the bloodiest battles we ever see.
Only medicine cats and leaders received this message.
It was revealed that the ominous presence felt from which the prey fled was the Slayers themselves! They had finally arrived to wipe the Clans out. Everything before had been a distraction to slowly weaken the Clans, which it effectively did.
The Slayers split and attacked each Clan, destroying the dens and medicine supply primarily. Ravage attacked NightClan, Comet attacked BreezeClan, Gorge attacked SeaClan, and Splinter attacked StormClan. Anarchy remained in the Outskirts to heal any injuries.
StormClan was tipped off about the attacks and managed to evacuate before being attacked and was scattered throughout its territory.
The Slayer brothers, Gorge and Splinter, were betrayed when Comet convinced Ravage that the brothers were no longer necessary and should be killed. Comet had, in turn, been manipulated by Anarchy to make such a suggestion. Anarchy had been treated by the others as the weakest, least necessary member, so she'd garnered a hatred towards them and decided to bring them down as well.
The brothers were fatally injured (and chased back into Clan territory for the Clans to kill).
Shiftstar, successor to Moss-star (who was murdered by the traitorous Foxfire), suggested all the Clans arrange a secret and/or mandatory gathering, to which all Clans agreed and every member of the Clan attended, feeling it was too unsafe to leave anyone behind for the gathering.
Ravage and Comet attacked the cats at the gathering, nearly destroying the tree bridge, and began to slaughter the inhabitants. Elders and kits were salvaged because two guards, Embergaze and Mapleleaf, had spotted the Slayers swimming to the island. Elders and kits were escorted off on the tree bridge just before Ravage came and destroyed it.
The moon suddenly turned blue in that moment, filling the Slayers (and med cats and leaders) with enhanced spiritual power, which translated into immense physical power. The slayers were virtually indestructible, and slaughtered many during those moments.
The vengeful spirits of Splinter and Gorge, however, were re-awakened by Anarchy; they were able to pierce through Comet's indestructibility and murder her to get back at Ravage, enraging Ravage so fully that he managed to scare the spirits away, back towards the spirit world.
And in that moment, Anarchy appeared, going against orders and killing Ravage, pretending to side with the Clans, and then turning to slaughter the remaining warriors herself.
In the end, Anarchy was defeated, and her body was washed away by the river in which she died.
The Slayer's downfall was their inability to remain a united team, as well as their overpowering evil which soon consumed them.
The Clans survived the worst imaginable attack by the sheer luck of this, and they live to tell the tale!
