So I was cruising through Hot Topic at the mall today, seeing if the Glee shirt I've been eyeing was on sale yet. (It wasn't even in the store, but I got a Charlie the Unicorn t-shrt for $10. I'm getting off topic.) While looking in towards the back, I noticed that they were selling t-shirts that said "Then Buffy Staked Edward... The end." for $20. Unfortunatley it doesn't appear to be listed online, but they DO have another Buffy t-shirtonline. Could they finally be seeing the light?

I think they are trying to appease the antis with this new gesture. But, when the Eclipse movie arrives, it'll be back to getting money off Twihards.

I saw that shirt- its awesome. I honestly don't think Hot Topic is for or against Twilight- they're 100% for the money, though, and don't care who it comes from.

This thread... it lacks a bit of... intelligence.
Anyway... I'm rather pleased to see that they have this shirt avaliable now. If only I had the funds to buy one.

It's all about the money.... They have finally realized that there is a huge audience out there for ANTI-twilight stuff...

EDiT:*Snickers at Crystal's remark* Ahem. If they truely do have a "And Then Buffy Staked Edward..." shirt, I'd be a wee bit ticked because technically, J!NX (jinx.com) came up with the concept of that shirt and unless J!NX made an announcement I was unaware of (to which I am not because I'm a subscriber on their mailing list), then J!NX could sue for plagirism. Unless they changed the look of the T-shirt. Ya HT, I saw your pathetic "I Fight Like A Girl" WOW shirt. It ain't got s**t on J!NX! Hot Topics Pathetic GarbageSHAZAM! J!NX EPIC PWNAGE!I just love how HT tries to be different with their purple colored shirt when the original came in Black and Plum!

To be very honest, Hot Topic is famous for behaving as though they are above plagiarism laws. They were the store that hosted the infamous Twilight Perfume that was ripping off Nina Ricci and have taken images from DA without the artists consent at least once that I know of. I'm astounded that they still manage to stay in business actually, it seems like most of their products are cheap imitations of high quality brands.-_-;

Hot Topic can't claim that they came up with the "I Fight Like A Girl" T-shirt because J!NX has had their T-shirt for probably over a year, in which Hot Topic never had their version of the shirt unless just a few months ago.

I honestly never buy clothes online because I have an hourglass type of figure and it's hard to be sure something fits me without trying it on. I can understand why people have issues with HT, but I've generally had good experiences with them. The only things that bother me about them is that they famously sell Twilight crap, and that they're trying EXTREMLY hard to cater to the current "geek" fad. (The geek fad in general pisses me off though. Being into vampires, werewolves, and zombies no longer qualifies you to be a geek, unless you liked them BEFORE they became "cool"!) Though I am happy to see that they have two different Big Bang Theory shirts (I've been a fan since season 1.) and two different Doctor Who shirts. (ThinkGeek and the BBC America online store are the only other places I've seen Doctor Who stuff.)

Strange question, but does that "fight like a girl" black t-shirt come in... how do I put this... a not so tight fitting design?
Also, HT have not redeemed themselves. They're going to turn Alice In Wonderland into a emo pop culture fad just like Nightmare Before Xmas.
Sad.
