Growth reqs
This shop is going to feature two different kinds of requirements. Stage requirements are for your kid at their specific stage – they will be things like waiting times and specific small tasks to do with their current stage. The second type of requirements will be permanent requirements – you have to do these for each stile your child is at. They won't be hard but they will be things to keep the shop active and keep your child and the research on them up to date.> ToddlerAssignment – so you want one of your characters to have a little bundle of joy do you? Well, to obtain that child, your character has to do one of a few things: 1. Volunteer to be a parent to one of these test children; You can do a solo rp of them receiving their child or an rp of that parent going to pick one out.;
2. Want a parent who doesn't expect a child? They can be picked out by Kayen or Apoxi and summoned via a letter to come pick out a child (though they won't be told that)
3. More unwilling parent who wouldn't follow a weird letter? Kayen will quite 'kindly' deliver the child to your guardian and inform them that they are now in charge of this child whether they like it or not.
Journal Setup – Some people want to reserve every post under the sun in their journal. Some don't. Letting Dg know once you have your journal fully set up is a good thing so that I know when to start counting your posts in there for activity.
Permanent RequirementsMonthly Post – to remain off hiatus, one must do a post for their child at least once a month. It doesn't have to be extremely complex but sort of a 'this is what my kid did this month' so that even if you're gone for a little, your kid still has some history (these posts can be reserved and written later but I don't want to see a journal of nothing but reserveds. These aren't required to be complicated posts). This can also be a chance to sum up all you've done with your kid that month instead of having to do fifty journal entries to explain the different pds and whatnot (though if you want to do fifty journal entries you can).
Stagely Visit – As your children are being researched, they will need to be seen at every stage and observed for a period of time (this usually only takes two rps). This time is usually used to let them get to know their dna donors, or let them explore the labs or just talk to Apoxi and Kayen. They are allowed to meet with whoever they want at the labs but are encouraged to meet with their real parents at least once. More of these visits may be necessary if your child has special powers or needs, however, but that is a case by case basis. Your child is also allowed to visit more frequently if they wish – many of the dna donor creatures would like the company and Apoxi doesn't mind it. Kayen doesn't either but prefers guests be productive.
Meet Someone – Not every child is social, however, for the research to be conducted right, it is recommended that children are taken out and allowed to meet others, at least once per stage. Taking them places and being able to spend lots of time with them are encouraged but not mandatory, however actually letting your child interact with a new person once per stage is a good idea. The other person doesn't have to be from this shop and doesn't even have to be a kid, but you are asked to have them meet someone new (meaning that they haven't met before and/or who you don't play) at each stage. You can have as many other rps as you like but this is the only mandatory one for growth.
