Discuss the time honored question. Which one is better? Pokemon or Digimon? Why do you like that one?

When I was younger I liked pokemon more, blissfully numb to the fact that each and every episode was slowly becoming a carbon copy of the ones before it. If I'd have to choose between which first seasons to watch I honestly couldn't choose though. Pokemon is timeless; digimon is interesting.
