Who can you trust in? Many people would say 'only yourself' I can't quite agree with that, for the soul reason that "Daily we fail to be what we expect in other people". C.S. Lewis said that in Mere Christianity. What I mean by saying this is that, we fail ourselves so many times in a day its not funny. We are an emotional people, we act more on emotions than anything else....Often times this leaves us in a rut, do to our own actions...we fall. Isaiah 50:1 says "Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away." Often times, for our failures we blame others, namely God, yet it is us who have failed not God, it is us in whom we cannot rely.

Others say "well we can trust in others." Can you? Well if you can't even trust in yourself, how is it, that you can trust in others? Simply you can't, its impossible to fully trust in others, or to fully trust in yourself. We all fail, we all fall. We can never always be there for one another, there will be times that someone won't be there for somebody else, and when they can't, the other usually ends up getting hurt. We think at times, we can fully trust in others, but that is a lie...because we can't.

Then who can we trust in? We all feel that need to trust in something, and again as C.S. Lewis once said, "we feel hunger, and we are provided something to fill that hunger" so it is that we feel hunger hear, which might be said, there is something to fill that hunger, but it isn't ourselves, nor is anyone on this earth. Then who? "It is finished." At one point in time, there was a man, that proved that one could trust in him, with his whole being. Everything he said he would do, he did. He even paid the highest price imaginable...His life. There is only one in whom we can put all our faith, all our trust in...only one, and his name is Jesus ben Joseph...The Messiah, God with us...
