Welcome to the guild! Introduce yourself here.
I'm ROMVLVS, if you're joining this guild you should understand my namesake.
I go to school, I'm 21, and I enjoy pointing out the historical inaccuracy of movies to piss off my friends.
I read a lot, and I hang out with my friends about as much as I read, if not more.
I post in the GCD mostly, though I also post in some guilds.
I am not very good at art, though I wish I were.
Obviously I like Roman things.
I like to play video games, but currently I don't own a console.

I'm Ares, but since we're in a guild about Rome, call me Mars. I get more prestige and respect with that name anyway...Man, Rome was great, especially in it's heydey. The Roman's really liked me, since I'm kind of the dad of their founders. You know, Romulus and Remus. Cute kids. Kind of feral, though...they were also more inclined towards warfare, being an empire and all. God, it was great there...the food, the battles, the military, the women...good times man, good times. I should seriously visit again, because hell do I know, the Greeks don't seem to share the Romans opinions of myself, and I could sure use the vacation.

I'm Sisyphus, 20 year old working on a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts), so of course in my Art History courses we learned all about Roman art! What would we have done without that vital discovery of Pompeii? How much about the daily lives of these people would we have lost if that discovery wasn't made? We wouldn't have known the intense colours used in Roman frescos today! The Roman's were quite an awesome people, and even though my username is based off from Greek mythology, I'll still vouche for them!

:> Hi, I'm Gnar, or Trench, whichever- I answer to both. Thanks for the invite! I took Latin for six years, but haven't had a class in it for four years, so I'm a little rusty. Catullus is my favorite poet ever, and I have a retarded fangirl crush on Julius Caesar (That nose redface )
I'm twenty, to be twenty-one in June, whereupon I will be legally allowed to do what I've been doing since I was sixteen. :V I'm nearly done with junior college and currently cowriting a Victorian era vampire/mad science novel. (in my defense I got into vampires on Dracula and Hellsing.)
I'm usually found on here in the GCD although I've been skiving off to roleplay more and more lately.

Hullo, I am Soul of the Wind, or Soulie.
I'm 19, turning twenty in September. I'm a Sophomore in College and one of my classes this semester is World History. I have read far past the point I'm supposed to have in the text book because I could not put it down. I'm a History Major with a Middle Eastern focus. :3
The GCD is my home forum, but I've been lurking due to the lack of good topics lately.

Hello folks. I'm AquaRegia.
I graduated in animation, but haven't been putting my degree to use. I admit I don't know much about the Romans. I have learned a lot from art history, but I've forgotten a bulk of what I learned. I am open to learn more about the Romans. If I were to ever win the lottery I plan on going to school the rest of my life and learning almost everything I can, history included.
I mostly hang out in one specific guild. I barely ever post anywhere outside of it. Occassionally, I lurk the gcd and several of the other forums.

Feels slightly shy...
Well, I am xXDiscardedXx, but before I was named CalypsoHephaestus, after my two favorite myths. When we studied Ancient Rome, I usually didn't listen. Though I do like Vulcan, and perhaps I will change my username once again to Hephaestus Vulcan? Not sure.
Though I am pleased to have joined this guild, and I do want to find out more. I do know the gods and the myths, and when the volcano exploded. But after that, I need some more help.

Hello! I'm nebuLARUby, people tend to call me Laru (: I'm 24 and I have a BA in Studio Art. I took many art history classes on the side (if my college had allowed I would have also been an art history minor XD ) I also took several mythology and ancient history classes (including Anicent Philosophy, Women in Ancient History, and Archeology ) I also took a class on Latin, although I'm not very good at it.
Although I'm a bit rusty now ^^ its been a while since I've used any of this knowledge. I have been trying to recall many things we learned and read. ^^

23 here, I have a diploma in music-something-or-other. I actually don't have a particular interest in Rome, but if there's a documentary about it on the History Channel I'll sometimes watch.
'Sup ladies.
EDIT: Oh, one of the posters below reminded me of Rome, the series. That was an awesome show! They always stuck it on at 1am for some stupid reason, though.

Salvete! wink I was just searching "Roman" in guilds and this had the most interesting name. I think Roman history, mythology, and Latin are fun. I'm an English major with an option in Creative Writing and minor in Philosophy. And I like apple juice.

Hi, I'm Lenimph
'Im a Senior in highschool but I've always been compelled by literature and history. I have a deep place in my heart for the Ancient Romans. I'm fascinated by their history, culture and the deep creases it put into the world.
Plus they put a really big importance in Venus. The Romans knew what was important wink
thanks for the invite...

Hi, I'm Cressica.
I'm currently in grad school studying information and library science, and I was a lit major in college. My secondary focuses were theater design and art history.
My knowledge of ancient Rome is fairly decent. I mean, I did spend about a week last year marathoning through both seasons of HBO's Rome and I, Claudius in it's entirety! (That counts, right? xd )
Thanks for the invite. This should be fun!

Hi I'm Bacchus (Dionysus to the Greeks), the most funnest god you'll ever meet! You may know me for my invention, wine. I always seem to be throwing parties and you'll never find a kinder soul ever. However, if you cross me beware--I am the God of Madness.
