ONE VOTE PERSON!!! NO MULES!!!I HATE Valentine's Day!!! 
The Contest:
Write a short story, poem, or song; draw a funny comic strip or cartoon bashing Valentine's Day. Perhaps you want to write a witty essay or just release a well thought out rant. The sky is the limit! Submit your best Anti-Valentine's Day stuff, and your guild friend's will pick a winner.
The Rules
-You may only submit one one entry. However, you may change your submission at any time.
-All submissions must be original. NO CHEATING!!! scream
-When you submit your entry, use the "shout" post style that you see in your posting options. This will let us know which posts are entries.
-All submissions are due before midnight, right before Valentine's Day begins. To clarify, all submissions are due by 11:59PM on February 13th.

His feelings for Feb.14 were very bad
He would take weapons and dress himself ironclad
And gun down all the couple's he saw that made him sad

Valentine's Day, the day of love.
Or so it is to most.
To one such as myself, it's nothing more than the day after today.
Why is one day more important than the rest?
Not to mention a naked baby shooting people with medieval weaponry causing them to fall in love.
If anything, it should be a day to be extra mean to the one you love, since you're normally being nice to them anyway, are you not?
In the end, we really know what this day is about, cash for greeting card companies, extra pounds from all the chocolate going on sale, and men trying to increase their chances of "getting lucky".
Valentine's Day is not the day for me, and is a day I treat like any other.

If it's not too late to enter, I'd like to give it a shot. I actually don't hate Valentine's Day, but last year a certain somebody made me pretty bitter about it for a while. (We were "in a relationship," and we only got to see each other a couple of times a month because of our schedules, yet he ditched me on Valentine's Day to hang out with people he sees every day of his life.) Hence, this inane little limerick.
I once dated a fella named "Dummy"
Whose relationship skills were quite crummy.
Last Valentine's Day
He called me just to say,
"Cheerio! I'm off shopping with Mummy!"

Thanks! Sadly enough, it's a true story. xp I actually stayed in a relationship with him for six months AFTER that, but he never did get around to actually taking me out or acting like he wanted to spend time with me. Needless to say, I finally got tired of all that! sweatdrop
