So I've always been a stuffed animal girl, despite all my mom's efforts to get me into dolls. When I was seven she put an adult sized mannequin at the foot of my bed for my birthday dressed like I fairy...while I was asleep. Scarred me for life when I woke up and there was what looked like a PERSON at the foot of my bed. Ruined dolls for me. But for some reason dollfies and all their counterparts are so CUTE. I can't get over them even though their sooo expensive! What are everyone's opinions.
Here are my two dreams, aren't they cute?
I would name her Camila <3
And I would name him Sasha <3
They even have cute clothes and wigs. Kawaii lolita for Camila and steampunk for Sasha.

I'm personally also more of a stuffed animal person, but I have nothing against dolls (I have quite a few porcelain dolls, and an 18-inch vinyl doll like the American Girl ones). I actually find Dollfies, etc amazingly beautiful. Some of the types have eye-styles that creep me out a little bit, but most of them I find really pretty. I think if I had money to afford another hobby, I'd want to collect some XD But as it is, I already spend too much on my other collections XD

Dolfies are quite interesting. I love the level to which one may customize these dolls, yet I am more interested in miniature doll houses. Some of my friends have some nice dolfies that are designed after characters from the stories they write. That would certainly be a fun application for a dolfie. I think it would be splendid to see one of my creations as a doll I could put on display.

Ack! I have a similar story. When I was young, my mum got a porcelain doll that was about 2 1/2 or 3 feet tall and customized to look like me. When I got home that day I was freaked out but I thanked her and acted like I liked it. But late at night when I went to go to the bathroom I walked by it and it just absolutely petrified me! I broke it and acted like it was an accident... I feel bad for breaking it now. sad No dolls for me... just stuffed animals. whee I think BJDs are nice but it's just too expensive for me.

Most dollfies are quite lovely, but I am in complete agreement with Kyttyee in that some of them just scare me... sweatdrop
I'm a stuffed animal gal, with a special weakness for bunnies and unicorns. I've taken to sewing my own plushies, and I'm making bunnies for each of my younger cousins, out of fabric that matches their personalities (pirates for the mischievous one, princesses for the girly one...).
My next sewing projects are to make a bunny purse and unicorn purse~ That way I can have something adorable at my side, but still functional.

I like porcelian dolls. I have 9. I also have a bunch of stuffed animals. There's a store where I live that sells porcelian dolls. I've always wanted one of the big ones. At some stores they can be $1,000 + but at the store I go to you can get them for $100-$300.
I've always been a girly girl who likes dolls and cute and cuddly stuff.
