 Wesley crouched down to take a drink from the lake he'd just found. He was further from his sisters and mothers than he'd been ever since he was a BCR, and the solitude was starting to get to him.
Pink Mom and Blue Mom were probably still around their meadow, and he'd last seen Lee around there, too. He had no idea where Breeze, Meade, and Meadow had disappeared to, though.
He knew his little sisters were grown up now, and could take care of themselves and everything, but it just felt weird, and somehow wrong to be away from his family.
He had left because he thought he needed a break from them. He wasn't that far away from the meadow, though--maybe he should give in, turn around, and go back.
Yeah, that's what he would do, he decided. Just after he rested a little bit more from the unaccustomed traveling he had done.

 Aditu huffed as she got stabbed in the paw by another burr, shaking the victim paw irately. It was so annoying out here in the grass and stuff, things were always sticking her and bugs were always buzzing in her ears or stinging her. Annoyed at the offending burr that wouldn't come off, she sat down by a lake and leaned down to chew it out of her fur, then tossed it into the lake and dipped her stinging paw in the cool water.
Better, even if it was so hot here. Admittedly, she had chosen to leave the snow-laden lands she called home, but nothing had prepared her for this entirely different terrain. There were creatures she had never seen, and some she only remembered from kithood, but she didn't know how to handle most of them. Fish, birds, deer, wolves and bears made sense, rabbits too. Nothing else really did.
Feeling lost (and kind of lonely, although she tried to ignore that), Aditu peered into her reflection in the water, and noticed another one in her peripheral vision. Curious, the paint-splattered fox looked up and saw a male nearby. Having not talked to anyone in a few days, she offered a smile. "Hello. I didn't notice you earlier."

The sound of something crashing through the bushes caught Wesley's attention, and he looked over to see a female had arrived, some distance down the lakeshore from himself.
The color of her pink markings were rather like those of Pink Mom and his sisters, but otherwise she was wholly unfamiliar.
"Hi," he replied, suddenly at a loss as to what to do around a strange fox. He'd never met anyone outside his family before. What had Blue Mom said about manners? That he should be a gentleman...nice...polite...oh, and give his name!
"I'm Wesley. You are?"

"I'm Aditu," the vixen replied with a bright smile. She noticed he seemed a little....shy? Hesitant? Confused? Something was bothering him, but she knew better than to push. It was probably just because they were strangers, and most people avoided making conversation with people they didn't know.
Ah well.
"Say, do you, er, know where we are?" she added with a sheepish smile. "I'm form Kousetsu, see, and I'm nottt so good at directions or geography. This is all weird lookin' to me." As if back to back up her statement, a small cluster of pollen landed on her nose, causing Aditu to sneeze violently.
Bluh. She scrubbed at her nose, trying to get the tickling feeling to go away. Why did everything here have to make her itch or sneeze? "What is that stuff, anyways?"

"That's pollen." He wasn't quite sure how she could not know about pollen, or where they were, or anything like that, but he figured that he should help her, because she was obviously lost in more ways than one, and that'd be the right thing to do.
"There's a meadow over thataway," Wesley gestured to his moms' meadow. "Does that help? I don't know where Kosetsu is."
It sounded like a tribe, but neither Pink Mom nor Blue Mom had told them much about tribes, besides the one that his moms had been in, before it had disbanded.
"What's so weird about all this stuff around here, anyway?" It looked perfectly normal to Wesley, so she really had to be a long way from home.

"Pollen," Aditu repeated, mulling over the word. "I heard about this stuff once. Trees only use pince cones where I come from for that kinda stuff." She nodded to herself, not really that disappointed that he didn't where they there. She'd find her way back.
"Kousetsu's in the mountains," she nodded sagely. "It's all snow and evergreens. Dunno, sometimes I hear others call it the Snow Tribe." She shrugge dlightly, realizing that had mostly been an aside to herself. "It's weird 'cause we don't really have any of this where I live. Our shamans hhave to travel outside the borders and bring healing herbs and plants back, because we're lucky when we see just plain ol' grass."

He looked at her sidelong, wondering why she would want to live where it was cold all the time. And not just her, but enough foxes to make up an entire tribe. It didn't sound fun at all to Wesley.
But...she seemed to like her tribe...the whole thing rather confused him.
"So there's a snow tribe and a love tribe--was a love tribe," he muttered to himself. Moms had never said much about tribes, except that there were others. Oh, and that Pink Mom's dads were the elders of some tribe. She'd probably told him once, but he'd forgotten everything besides that.
"So...isn't it hard, always having to go outside your lands for healing plants?" The whole thing was really confusing. He was trying to get it, but he couldn't.
