March 19, 2002, approximately three months after Malice Mizer announced their indefinite hiatus, Mana announced the formation of his solo project, Moi dix Mois. Their first single, "Dialogue Symphonie", was released October 19 of the same year.
Moi dix Mois played their first concerts outside Japan in March 2005 in Munich, Germany and Paris, France as part of their Invite to Immorality Tour. After the tour's final engagement on April 24, 2005 in Tokyo, singer Juka left the band.
A new stage of the band began on March 1, 2006, when they released the album, Beyond the Gate. This featured a new vocalist named Seth. Before the album was released, Mana indicated that the sound would mean the beginning of a renewed direction for the band, possibly more integrated towards electronic music. After the announcement of the Beyond the Gate release was made, Seth's identity was revealed as the new vocalist, and it was announced that Kazuno (bass) and Tohru (drums) were also leaving the group.
In June 2006, Moi dix Mois headlined the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Germany. They then returned to touring in Japan.
A prospective five city tour in the United States was scheduled for July 2006, but canceled due to the band citing "differences in policies" with the tour organizer; however, Mana did make a U.S. appearance at the 2006 Anime Expo in Anaheim, CA on July 1, where he announced that Moi dix Mois is planning to tour America sometime "within the calendar year". Nevertheless, this U.S. tour did not materialize in 2006.
On March 28, 2007, Moi dix Mois released their fourth album, Dixanadu; the first album with the current lineup.
On June 17, 2009, Moi dix Mois announced they would attend Anime Expo 2009, the largest anime convention in North America. Their performance was scheduled for July 2nd, at 3pm, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
In a recent interview before Anime Expo Mana said that he's making a new album. It's conception would go deeper in his world, but he didn't reveal any details of it. At the V-Rock Fest 2009, Moi Dix Mois played two new songs, "Dead Scape" and "The Sect", and a new version of "The Prophet".

I'm a 100% Juka supporter, Seth on the record is ok but the lives are awful! Compare Juka's Night Breed to Seth's.... burning_eyes
and I really dislike K...
The first era is the best, but I have to admit I like Neo Pessimiste and Lamentfull Miss...

I don't own any Moi dix Mois, yet, but I plan on it. XD
Since I haven't listened to a whole lot of their stuff, I really haven't divided what I've listened to into era.
I do like Dialogue Symphonie... A lot. XD

I'm planning to buy Nocturnal Opera, the EU version, and Dixanadu EU limited edition. I don't think I'm ready to buy them from Japan... I'm not a huge fan of them and since it costs a lot to buy from Japan I think I'll leave that to the future, but I have been looking at the scars of Sabbath dvd...

I like Moi dix Mois, but I miss Mana-Sama's goth-doll look. Oh well, he's still pretty. Oh, here's something I found kinda interesting on youtube, not sure if anyone's seen it or not. Visual Kei magazine vol2 another one

Aha, that's "Mana's not Dead", a punkish kind of band Mana performes with rarely. Mana playes drums in that band, and the singer is a relative to Mana, can't remember what, if he's a cousin or something.

Okey...did anyone here order or try to order the Deep Sanctuary II pamphlet with Yu~ki and Közi?....
I did, and I don't know if it got away alright... the webshop is in Japanese only...=/

Ooh, I get so happy when I see Yu~ki, Közi and Mana together again just like in Malice Mizer! I really wish with all my heart that the three of them would be reunited and make a rebirth of Malice Mizer! 3nodding
I am also very excited over the new pictures of my dear Yu~ki, he looks just as handsome as always! heart

Oh thank you for sharing those piccies with us!! heart heart Totally made my day- and I was having a very, very miserable day. I'm not feeling good at all, been curled up on the couch in a ball, feeling live I've been run over by a semi who backed up and ran me over again ><
For once, I'm totally digging Kozi's look. He acutally looks hot there. I like his hair.
Mana...*sighs* well, is Mana. I'm in love with his black vest and blue silk-looking shirt- I wants it!!!
And Yuki with that beard......>< *pulls blanket over myhead* with the beard and glasses, he reminds me of an ex boyfriend of mine....*crawls under the bed and hides*

I also posted the events on the concert..probably in the wrong section of this guild... so I copying it here!:
Okey, so I heard some reviews from the concert last night^^
And here's what's happened in short:
The concert started like always with Közi and the crowd wasn't really into it, until Moi Dix Mois entered, THEN! Seth asked the audience to call for the count^^
after Moi Dix Mois,
the curtain was raised and there the three of them stood with red roses and they played Saikai no Chi To Bara! Yu~ki was nervouse I heard and all of them was close to tears, Mana acctually walked backstage to dry his tears and Yu~ki was shaking. (note, they threw the roses to the crowd...lucky son of a *****)
Then they played Beast of Blood and Közi sang and Yu~ki also.
And that was about it, Mana gave Yu~ki a hug and Közi jumped into them=) and then they held eachother and bowed and it was over.
*Note, Hayato played the drums during Beast of Blood and he bowed before he played, to honour Kami. There were also a butterfly... in the arena that night...^^)

I'm sure that me too had started to cry if I only had the opportunity to be there and see these three beautiful men reunited this magical evening. whee Ooh, so also Yu~ki sang "Beast Of Blood", I really want to see/hear that! heart I hope someone will upload the concert on youtube soon so that everybody who couldn't be there at least can see it on the computer.
