(This RP is independent from Ammon and Adelle's RP.)

Amir was staring at the clock and praying that it would move faster; he was excited. Today was the day that Maximilian would be delivering Tibalt to the Stronghold residence for 12 full hours of..well, Amir wasn't quite sure since he wasn't one for planning. The spoiled heir figured he'd wing it and just see what Tibalt wanted to do, and if all else failed, his trusty caretaker would pick up the reins and steer them toward a day full of fun. After all, what better way to warm a woman's heart than to take excellent care of a young boy that lives in the same house? Not only does it give Ammon a chance to show his caring side, it would also show Adelle that he's capable of being a father. At least that's what Amir thought, anyway, and he could be quite convincing if he put his mind to it. Even though he didn't care for the woman, it wouldn't stop him from name-dropping.

Ammon was staring at the clock and praying that it would go slower; he was anxious. Today was the day that Maximilian would be dropping his prince off for the day, and he wasn't quite ready for another verbal sparring match with his rival. He hoped with every fiber of his being that the professor wouldn't request to see the facility, or even request a sit down with Amir or himself. The quicker Maximilian was gone, the sooner Ammon could relax his tiring business act and focus on a lighter subject: watching Amir flounder around while trying to take care of another human being--or at least a creature that resembled one. He took a deep breath and held it in as he leaned his head on the desk, muttering to himself like an old man. "What time did you say Maximilian and Tibalt were getting here?" questioned Ammon with a strained voice.

"He should be here in about ten minutes, but he said he might be late. I'm going to head topside so I can be there when they get here!" Amir exclaimed as he waltzed toward the elevator with a skip in his step. He was never able to hide his enjoyment or happy feelings very well, particularly within their floor's walls, but it was a work in progress. About the only thing the young man was able to keep under wraps was his selfish and spoiled side, a sight only for Ammon and the staff's eyes. Amir knew that being demanding toward anyone else would just lead him down a bad, bad road that left him stranded without anything. Instead, he just used his puppy dog eyes and his collection of 'heirlooms' to get his way and technically it works 100% of the time since Maximilian is the only one he's tried it on. "Are you coming, Ammon?"

Amir didn't wait for an answer and simply entered the elevator and commanded it to go topside. He didn't understand why Ammon and Maximilian would fight over a girl, but it was quite the spectacle to see someone like his caretaker to break character. It amused him to no end, but his personal Jiminy Cricket kept telling him it might end up bad for all three of them. He sighed and leaned against the elevator's cool metal wall, "I hope Max isn't too late." Unfortunately for Jiminy, Amir wasn't the type to think about what will happen in the future. For right now, it was fun, and he'd continue to think it was fun until it ceased being fun. "I want to see that creature again," he said while tapping a finger on his lip. "His feet were so big and he had a tail, I wonder what he can do. It's so interesting~"

Once the elevator reached topside, Amir turned to the robotic doorman and requested a coat which he received in a matter of seconds. He was tempted to ask for a gas mask as well, but the little bit he did know about young minds was that gas masks were scary and he didn't want to frighten the poor boy. "I want him to like me," Amir said to himself and opened the door. "Because if he likes me, Maximilian will like me more." However, he did have one non-selfish reason for wanting Tibalt to come over. "I'll get some good practice for when my prince is his age." And I really need the practice.

As young as Tibalt was, he had grown to be quite the intelligent boy, and as an intelligent boy he would tell anybody who'd listen that he did not enjoy being part of a bargaining chip, especially when he never agreed to such things. He had been lamenting to Adelle, "Mother", the entire day about how Max, "Arschgesicht", only ever needed him for selfish reasons. This is why Tibalt was content with causing as much trouble as humanly possible for both Maximilian and his stupid business partner. He was probably a rich snob, Arschgesicht only affiliated with these as far as the toadlet knew.

Maximilian had retreated to the laboratory early in the morning and left Adelle to dress the Princeling--Tibalt could always count on Mother to make him well-dressed. She had made him promise to behave, but unfortunately for her, she could not have noticed the crossed, webbed fingers hidden behind the boy's back as she adjusted his scarf. The first part of the day's rations of warm water allocated to "refueling" his clothes had already been soaked into the material, and luckily for Amir, Tibalt could stay in those clothes for slightly longer than the average Prince, meaning that Maximilian needn't bother writing instructions for refilling the material.

They were rushing though, before it was time to leave--Maximilian did not like being late to functions that he had promised to attend, but it was fortunate enough that the scientist needn't attend this event. He had made sure to wear gloves for the occasion, but he still had no intentions of stepping 50 feet beyond Rheinfels. The professor had too much work to do, he wasn't a childcare service, and luckily for him, Tali had provided him the ultimate key to his laziness in the form of a self-drivable car. Grasping Tibalt by the bandanna around his neck (as if he was going to touch the boy, even though his gloves), he steered him to the gleaming silver car and sat him in the passenger side, looking him square in the eye and growling,

"Listen, you little brat. This is a very important day for you. You are going to get some social interaction and I am going to get some work done. Don't you dare break anything in here." He pulled up the user interface panel within the car and selected the location of the drop, then mapped routes for the return journey as well. Hurriedly setting the speeds (a little higher than what they originally should have been, but they were already running late on their schedule), Maximilian reached up with a grim face and slammed down the door.

"I'm not stupid!" Tibalt yelled as he yanked on the seatbelt that automatically wrapped around his hips and across his shoulder, his large, slitted brown eyes glaring at his Master through the window, indicating that he still wasn't happy with this arrangement. He wiggled in the seat, adjusting his tail between his legs to get a little more comfortable and he stretched out on the seat as the car started gliding out of the port. Tibalt huffed to himself irritably. He didn't even know this person! Amir, he could have been a ***** for all the boy knew, but from the way Max raved about Ammon, he knew that the caretaker certainly could have been.

Absentmindedly tugging on his earring out of habit, the toadlet stared out of the window, pressing his fingers against the window and making sure to leave a nice greasy smudge for the next time Arschgesicht wanted to use the Model X4329-0. It wasn't long before he reached the Stronghold, and he could sense he already knew who the person standing outside it was. Tibalt was a little late, but it didn't matter--at least he hadn't crashed or fallen into any potholes on the road (boy they had gotten large). The car pulled up in front of Amir's home and the door's hydraulics hissed quietly, the door gently sliding up and the seat restraints retracting back into the plush material he was sitting on.

Tibalt pulled a face, a very obviously displeased look before he hesitantly stepped out, his foot, with its long, webbed toes immediately squelching into the satisfyingly wet mush besides the car. What was not so satisfying about it though, was how cold it was, and though he was insulated from the ankles up, his foot most certainly did not appreciate being into contact with such cold. He shook the slush off his foot before he ran up to Amir, a large, most certainly fake grin playing across his face. Knowing exactly what he was doing, he moved in so close to Amir that his toes almost touched the tips of the rich heir's shoes, before he extended his hand up to him.

"Hi! I'm Tibalt, are you the maid?"

Amir rocked on his heels as he stood outside the door in the cold, not used to the burning feeling in his cheeks due to the wind. His lungs filled only once with the impure air before he coughed and settled for shallow breaths. Nothing was worth living above ground with this kind of air, he thought to himself as his eyes peered over the long, winding driveway for movement. At long last (long being only a few minutes), Amir's eyes locked onto the car moving toward him. The guard stationed near him pulled the heir behind him as he inspected the vehicle with specialized binoculars to make sure there were no weapons, which of course weren't there. "You don't need to be cautious all of the time, do you? It's not very welcoming to our guests, you know. They don't see a guard; they see someone prying into their privacy and it looks bad on us," he scolded.

The guard wasn't too thrilled by the little master's poor attitude toward someone who would risk his own life to save Amir, but he let it pass as the car rolled up and Tibalt walked out. Amir's eyes brightened as he looked over the toadlet and a smile graced his lips. Lowering himself to the boy's level, he shook Tibalt's hand, "Welcome to my home, Tibalt--" Amir's jaw twitched close and he stared for a moment after the comment. ME? A MAID? It upset him, but this was a young boy after all...a young boy that belonged to his business partner. Regaining his composure he simply waved it off and continued speaking. "No, only women are maids. I'm the master of this house. Now, let's get inside the house before your feet freeze," Amir finished and opened the door, guiding Tibalt inside.

"You're really lucky, Tibalt. You get to see a place that very, very few people ever get to see: my floor. It'll be fun!" Amir exclaimed as he called for the elevator. "There are a lot of things to do here. We have movies and games and if you like being outside, we have a garden." And then he remembered something from the frog conversation he had with Ammon a few days prior. "We have a pond, too, that's good for swimming...I think." Amir was never fond of water that wasn't completely purified so he hadn't actually swam in the pond before. However, he didn't think the little toad would be all that picky. "Well you'll have fun either way," he said with a smile as he stroked the pin on his chest. "And if it's not fun, you have to tell me. I'll make Ammon find us something fun to do, ok?"
