So the other day, I was reading my Psychology textbook, and I came across the term "imprinting". Of course, David G. Meyers was talking about how baby ducks attach to the first thing they see, thinking it's their mother. But all I could think was, "Jacob. Twilight. ***** that got me to thinking... even though I hate Twilight, totally normal things can remind me of it and make me think of how much I hate it. And how different is that from someone who sees something totally normal and thinks about how much they love it? What I'm saying is... whether you love or hate something, it's still an obsession. So the thing you're setting out to destroy might really be destroying you. Discuss: Agree/Disagree? Imprinting BABY DUCKS

I must have a stronger mind than you guys, because Twilight-related words don't have any special meaning to me. Forks, for instance, means to me a group of two or more metal eating implements with tines. xd

AND I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE. -High fives-
I think I'm obsessed with Twilight. Obsessed about mocking it. o3o

I've only had that happen a few times. For instance, I saw this sparkely, white, rubber ball at Borders near the check out and I immidiately thought "Hey look! It's Edward's balls!" rofl
General Twlight related words don't affect me too much.

Luckily my mind thinks of my own characters when I think "vampire" otherwise... that'd be bad.
Sometimes I feel like it's invaded my life so badly... Yet at the same time I've lost interest...

Weirdddd. eek And I agree with Evelyn's Eleanor Roosevelt quote... ...And with Crystal. I've also sort of lost interest. I definately don't spend as much time hating it as I did when I first joined the guild... notice this is my first thread in the main forum in a long, long time... sweatdrop

I think it's kind of interesting to not use forks...
And yeah, I have my own vampire characters. They're cannibalistic, so it makes them more badass. I just think of vampires devouring people when I think of "vegetarian vampies." twisted
(Don't read if you don't want to hear about cannibalism). My vampires have to drink human blood to live. I actually did out the calculations, and they'd have to devour about 1 human every 2 months. They drink the blood, eat the flesh, organs, bones, etc. Eating the body provides nourishment, and isn't really necessary, but it's preferable. (I mean, imagine eating your entire body weight in one day). I wanted to make them as nasty as possible.

My vampire shrinks if he doesn't drink blood. So he drinks blood to avoid shrinking (animal blood don't cut it...).

xd My vampires go from pale and skinny to blushed and fat. That's basically old folklore style, isn't it?
