Alrighty! My newest quest is for a guy and a Nega.
Feel free to crit as harshly as necessary, and please point out my spelling issues. Word seems to do a pretty good job but some times I just butcher the hell out of a word.

Hobbies:
"Moonlight Song" : A band he and his friends Greg, Kevin and Ilona created some time in freshman year. He plays bass, Greg does vocals and lead guitar, Kevin plays drums, and Ilona does back up guitar. It was started as a small band in Greg and Kevin's garage during winter break while Ilona's Xbox was on the fritz and there wasn't much else to do. He had originally started out playing guitar, but found a home on the bass. Mer, Ilona and Kevin all do back up vocals, but Merric less so. His voice is not the best for singing because it's deeper than an average boy his age. There are a few songs they've done that he does sing, however.
Merric's ex-girlfriend Alex used to hang out and listen to them play when she didn't have anything to do homework or dance wise. He'd even started to teach her how to play bass until she dumped him. Even though "Moonlight Song" had become a part of their relationship, so to speak, he still plays in the band. Matt finds it soothing; when he's playing bass, he can forget everything else and just focus on the music.
Video Production : A small, not well known class at Meadowview is Video Production. In it, one can create PSAs, screenplays, and all sorts of things, as well as run a TV show. Merric has found his nitch, far away from anything that could remind him of Alex, in this class.
Virtues:
Honorable : "I'd never cheat on you... Oh right..." - Besides the one hell of a screw up he did, Mer will always stay true to his word. If he cares about you, he honestly cares and will do everything in his power to NOT screw it up. This can become a double edged sword, however, if he's asked to do one too many things. He'll want to do all of them, to not let anyone down, and it becomes very hard to get him to do anything else.
Priorities are in order : "School, homework, then practice with the band." - He knows what takes precedence over things. School and homework come first, before anything else (unless he's sick. Then sleep comes first.) Mer knows he can't just give up everything to be in the band; that would really '******** up my life big time' as he says. Household chores have to be done too, or at least passed off to his sister (not that it always works, given that she's eight) before he can go off and practice or play video games. If you need help with managing your time, he'll do that too. He'll even tell a group what should be done when and how long they should take on it, and prioritize a friend's schedule if its needed. Especially, if it had to function with his schedule as well, he'll take over someone's calender and make sure there's time to do it... whether he -actually- has the time slot for it or not.
The short version? He knows how to prioritize and manage his time well.
Takes Action : "Now, all of you, if you would listen for a moment, here's what we have to do..." - Mer has confidence and a willingness to take action and be the leader in a group. If someone won't take action, he'll do it and direct the group. As in, he'll tell someone what they are to do, and keep delegating things out until all the part of the project or assignment are complete. He gives the group direction, and is willing ot help people in each of their own parts if they needed. Merric enjoys this, because it keeps the group in check, and makes sure everything gets done.
Flaws:
Overbooked : "Oh yeah, I can get that done today... too." - Mer tends to... agree to things he doesn't have time for. Like telling the band he can practice, when he had two group projects to do, and work that night. He keeps a mental list of what he has to do, but ends up spending so much time thinking about what he has to do, that it explodes out into conversations from time to time. He can come off as being rather flaky if, for instance, you tell him you want him to go to the store to buy you milk, and he ends up with the band for six hours, and returns to you without milk. He easily will forget one engagement over another, and even forget friends because his schedule is too overwhelmed.
Bossy : "DON'T TOUCH IT OR I'LL BREAK YOUR HAND!" - Merric gets overzealous about getting things done. Incredibly overzealous. Almost in such a way that he makes more enemies out of his friends or group mates than friends. He commands his group mates around, almost to the point of bitching at them, and wants things done his way, regardless of who else wants to do it. He can seem over powering and over bearing at times, and down right nasty at others.
Cranky to the Ninth Degree : "I've got a headache, a paper due tomorrow, band practice, a show to edit and finish, and yet another girl to fend off, so would you all just shut up!?" - Due to his inability to say no, Mer accrues stress like is a hill in a snow storm. His life is one large ball of stress that shrinks, but never goes entirely away. He handles it the best way he can: just plowing through it. This makes him a cranky Mer, and a cranky Mer is not a happy one. He isn't one to yell or hit, but he does get angry (and thus adding to his stress) and has been known to take it out on other verbally.
He get's -cranky- as all hell, and his face turns into a perminate scowl. He will b***h and moan at you if you try to get him to do another thing on top of all he's doing. If you try to bother him, he'll start throwing things at you if you don't stop it, and will deck you across the face if you -really- don't stop. There's nothing worse than a cranky Mer, and nothing worse you can do than pestering a cranky Merric.
You can hear him grumbling through all he is doing, chugging Advil like its going out of style, and some how, he still gets everything done. He then gets to breath for five seconds before yet another thing has to be done.
Merric gets sick incredibly easily. His immune system is all but nonexistent, and any stress, and I mean ANY, will send his stomach sour and he'll be a mess of throwing up and colds. Even the slightest sniffle sends him drinking as much vitamin C as he can lay his hands on. He gets grumpy and becomes almost a right foul git when he's sick, much to his band mate's dismay and annoyance. He doesn't want to anything, not go outside, not play his bass, not even leave his room when he's sick. It really gets annoying. Even Star Seed collection will be something he can't do because he's sick.
Which means, he's almost always sick in some way, all the time. And if he's stressed AND sick, he's not just a right foul git, he's like a girl PMSing who has the worst PMS there is. He's been labeled a "******** angry a*****e" at times.
Physical Description:
Spikey, blue haired, tall, lanky. He looks older than he really is, like he's 19 or 20 instead of 17. Eyes are set back a bit, and always have a look of sadness to them. No one who doesn't know him personally, or listens to the rumors really knows why. His left ear is pierced with a single earring that bares the letter "A". Again, no one really knows why.
He wears band t-shirts all the time, and faded jeans. A "the Beatles - Let It Be" sweatshirt is his favorite article of clothing.

Family
Christine Holinger - Mother, age 51 : His mother has her moments of being controlling and anger, and then moments of dotting on his little sister. Christine isn't bi-polar, but she doesn't handle things very well. Her current relationship with her husband is rocky, but stable. She's been worried for her son ever since he and his girl friend broke up, and constantly tries to introduce him to new girls. Merric flat out refuses to see them now, and has yelled at her more than once to "knock it off." Christine is a stay at home mom ever since she lost her job last year. This fact only seems to add to her anger sometimes.
Keith Holinger - Father, age 48 : His father is a teacher in Meadowview. Keith teaches the 'slower' math classes, keeping to Pre-Algebra, and Algebra. He is a very tall man, who cook exceptionally well, and seems to have a good life, besides living on a teacher's salary with two kids. He has a much closer relationship to Merric than Christine does, and is slightly more lienent with things. He is disappointed in his son for messing things up with Alex, but understands that things like this happen.
Jennifer Holinger - Sister, age 8 : The princess of the house hold. It was apparent from the first few years that this was the daughter Christine always wanted. (They had Merric, and then tried for many years with not success, untill they had Jen.) She is, in essense, a brat who still throws temper tantrums. Matt loves his little sister yes, but there are times.
The Ex-Girlfriend
Alexandra Gramme aka 'Cry Baby' aka the girl he screwed up with - The one girl who didn't fawn over him, and subsequently became the one person closest and dearest to him. She knows all his darkest secrets, and he knows all of hers. They were closer than siblings, and lovers for a short time. He still loves her, and hates himself for screwing everything up.
In corners of his room, traces of her can be found if you look hard enough.
The Band Mates:
Greg Ethen - Lead guitarist and vocalist, age 17 : The younger of the twins, Greg has a knack for the guitar and singing. His voice is pleasant, and he has enough girls fawning over him to make his girlfriend Cathy Rutherfore jealous. He has his own issues, primarily his recent cheating incident, but other wise, he's a great guy.
Kevin Ethen - Drummer, back up vocals, age 17 : The elder of the twins, Kevin does drums. He does back up vocals, too, but his forte is drums. He's the more level headed one of the group, but still is quirky. He is in a relationship with Marissa Kempt, and everyone swears he'll marry her some day.
Ilona Noring - Guitarist, back up vocals, age 18 : The only girl of the band, Ilona first played bass before Merric switched to it, and she went back to the guitar. She is also the shortest member of the band, but that doesn't seem to deter her. She doesn't have a good relationship with her mom, and uses the band to escape her. She is also obsessed with video games, and one of the people to get Mer into them.
History
Merric had it all. He was smart, admirable, and had the sexiest voice on this side of the Moon, even though he was a bass player and didn't sing. He and his band, Moonlight Song, were some of the most popular people in Meadowview, and everyone idolized them.
Except one. A short girl with blondish-brown hair and vibrant blue-green eyes. Merric had always been curious as to why this one girl, out of the entire school, just did not idol him at all. It wasn't until they were in the same class, and he saw her in action, so to speak, that he found himself even more intrigued by her.
The girls would always ask why he was staring at "Cry Baby Alex" again as she sat sniffling at her desk, clutching her math test. Mer would just wave them off and turn away from her, only to glance back when the girls had gone. "Cry Baby Alex"... there was something about her that just focused his attention on her, and he wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because, on top of everything else he had to do, he wanted to help her. He wanted to help her get over her emotions and not let them control her.
That was just the thing, however. Merric had everything else to do. Months went by and he saw the girl become a small black hole of sadness. He wanted - no needed, to help her. He began talking to her and found she wasn't what the other girls had said at all. She was intelligent, and full of life, once you got her to stop berating herself. He found himself loving to see her smile, and see the click of the gears in her head as she figured out something he'd said. She told him flat out that she didn't idolize him; he had a voice to melt ice, yes, but that didn't mean she should just worship the ground he walked on. She had spunk, and a fire about her.
They'd spend hours together, just talking. She told him that her only real escape was ballet, and that she loved doing what she did. She danced for him and he became even more mesmerized by her than he already was. He also found himself wanting to do more than just talk with her, but it took much longer than he would have liked to get up the courage to kiss her. The first time he did, he almost couldn't control himself as she danced. He pulled her flush against him and kissed her hard, but with sweetness and affection. His entire being soared when she kissed him back.
Naturally, rumors that Alex and Merric were dating flew around the school. She began to get cornered about it, and bullied. Matt decided he had to do something. So he acted on those rumors and officially, and old fashionly, asked her to be his girl friend. She said yes.
The years seemed to fly by, and there was never enough time for them to be alone. Mer had his band, and she her dancing, not to mention school for the both of them. That aside, they were happy (Alex a little smug she had MJ "Pleasure Voice" all to herself).
And then Mer ruined everything.
It wasn't his choice. Oh no, if he could have had the choice to either have rumors spread that he was interesting in guys instead of girl, or to have kissed Ramilda Heriton, he would have picked the rumors. But he didn't have that choice. It was a childish dare to kiss her, one he had to do.
And of course, Alex found out, and saw the whole thing.
The next hour was Mer chasing her around Destiny City, until they came to the 'their' spot in the park. She yelled, he didn't deny anything. He told her he loved her, truly loved her, and that he couldn't live without her. She yelled that he'd broken her heart and she couldn't stand it anymore.
With a swift, ballet strengthened kick to his nether regions, Mer was left heartbroken and alone in the middle of the park as she ran off.
After that, Mer became a very silent person. He was never the same after Alex broke up with him, always a haunted look in his eyes, always sadness and loneliness when she was brought up accidentally. His band mates had learned to not bring her up; the first time, he all but thrown Greg, the lead guitarist, out the door of his house.

Why does her profile not speak of him? Because she's all but blocked him out, and ignored his existence.

For the “NAME HERE?!??” virtue, perhaps you mean something like “Priorities are in order”?
I have some questions about two of the flaws. You say he’s easily addicted, and unless I’m mistaken I think Negaverse soldiers get more evil/twisted as they advance, so does this mean his addiction may evolve to worse things? Say, gambling, alcohol, etc.?
Next up is getting easily sick. If he gets sick often, does he also take medicine often? Taken too often people tend to build up a tolerance to medicine, so what does he do about that?
… Yay midget crit! Midget crit back, maybeh?

Ah, thank you! I couldn't seem to come up with a name for it.
He'll NEVER touch alchohol or drugs. Its a vow he took when he found out what it did to his mother. Gambling, he's not really the type for it. If anything, he'll get addicted to stealing Star Seeds, and the power that comes as he advances.
He does take meds. He usually jumps between extra strength Tylanol for migranes, Tums, and on the rare occasion vicadin (but there isn't that much of that stuff in the house so he rarely, if ever uses it). He kinda just suffers through it, really, and tries to cut back on the stress and candy to see if it helps. His headaches happen enough he has to take more that 2 Tylanol now. At some point, he knows he'll have to up to something stronger, but he gets the feeling if he does, he'll get addicted to it, and thus he just deals with it and is crabby until he feels better.
Sure! I'll crit her!

He has straight priorities, but can't say no? Otherwise, I see nothing wrong with Jarosite and Matthew, and I hope you get him! I'd like it if you gave some crit to my quests, though- Vulpecula, Hydra, Hyperion, Apatite, Axinite, Ella Fiona, and Ino.

Its like, he know what comes first when doing work. School, hw, what his teachers/parents ask of him, his band, everything else. He fits in what people ask of him after he has his homework done, and before his band, which gets on his friends nerves because he's missed band practice more than once because of something his Video Production teacher asked of him.

He can't say no, which is an interesting flaw for a Negaverse character, but would he feel comfortable killing people for Star Seeds, a job within the Negaverse? You say he would never touch drugs nor alcohol, but killing people is something he is susceptible to doing? What if someone asked him to try a drug or drink alcohol, would he be able to refuse?
What if he was asked to kill or harm Alex?
And with the priorities in order, where would the Negaverse lie in the list of school, homework, and the band?
Overall the character looks pretty solid, I'd say just to think about those questions because they may come up.

Hmm... interesting questions. I think at first he'd be a little uneasy about the whole taking a Star Seed kills a person thing, especially if he wasn't told what happens before hand. But he has been given a job to do, one he said he'd complete, and he'd do it, albeit some what reluctantly at first.
He would never touch alchohol and drugs because he /knows/ if he does, he'll be come intensely addicted to them. The killing aspect is something he has to do for a job, at first. Over time, as he becomes more and more corrupt, he would start to become addicted not the the killing part, but the power that he gets from it over people.
He would probably attempt to rationalize it into 'It's just a job, it's just a job. If you kill her, she'll stop being on your mind all day long" or something of the sort. Lt. Jarosite would harm or kill her because its his duty. Matt would never harm her intentionally, so when he did, the Matt everyone knows would die some. It would be all part of the corruption he goes through as a Nega.
This being said, as a man who still cares for her, he'd try to keep her safe as long as possible, knowing (but dreading) when the time would come to go after her Star Seed.
As all things he gets asked to do, the Negaverse would go after school, and homework, and much to his bandmates annoyance, before the band. However, his band only practices three days in the school week (Mon, Wed and Fri) and then preforms whenever they get a gig on the weekends.

Classmates have come to view Matt as the go to guy when problems arise in Video Production or in school work. I recommend rewriting this flaw, it's a bit of powerplaying the way it is, since in RP you cannot force other people's characters to look to Matt as a leader no matter how good at it he's supposed to be. Maybe rework it so he has the confidence and willingness to be a leader if given the role? This would fit together with his priority-list way of thinking as well, since a good leader needs a good sense of organizing what everyone needs to do. <3 And then if he's got a mental list of what needs to be done and when, I'd really like to see how that works into being a pushover. Would he try to organize all of his obligations into his daily planner and end up extremely overbooked; does it harm his leadership skills when people want X Y and Z and he can't say no to it even though he feels it's more important to do A B and C? Lastly, I'm... not sure how I feel about the sickness flaw the way it is, since it would likely count more as a physical weakness than a character flaw. Maybe keep his weak immune system as an extra quirk, and make the main point of that flaw being how the way he handles his life makes him easily stressed (his people-pleasing ways and personal priorities sound like they would take their toll), and a stressed Matt is not a happy Matt? Like, because of how mean he gets I imagine him STILL trying to do this stuff but grumbling to himself the entire time. XDD
