Not sure if you say the announcement yet but they are taking volunteers for the Community Spotlight. Now last I heard, we had a chance of getting into the spotlight but that has faded back into our heads. At least it was until you read this. But I have never heard of people volunteering for the Spotlight. What do you thing about this? Why? Do you think we, the guild, should submit one? Discuss my grasshoppers and lets see what chaos we can create.

...Is there any particular reason we want to get in? Sure, publicity, but for what end? We're really not doing that much, and probably won't be for another eight months or so. Just throwing that out there.

It was like 6 months ago when Tim said that we could be in the spotlight. But it is just odd that they are asking for volunteers. So we could see more Spotlights in the future. And some that just seem lame.

We already were in the spotlight, we just didn't get top billing. I don't see much point in trying for a second time.

Well, in December I sent my Saikyou Crisis guild to be in the Spotlight. One month later, Gaia replied with a "yes"
I was happy but... when they updated it, my guild wasn't there <_ <;
I just hope next time they update... it'll be there... or heads will roll scream

Last time we were up we got tons of applicants.
Not many of them have been very active.

If i remember, some people weren't happy about that, or at least were concerned about a mass flood of new applicants. We weren't nessicarily concerned about new applicants. They can be dealt with with just a little time and effort. We were concerned that someone not in total control (IE TIM OR RYU) had requested it. and we weren't ready for the publicity yet. That plus Agent Caruthers was new on the scene and we were worried about a bunch of hack job n00bs joining because of the zOMG event without knowing that the guild was the guild before zOMG.
