This is what I've been up to lately, as far as crafts go!

I've been creating some Lolita bragging rights by making scrapbook pages full of Purikura from meetups. It's something we do every meetup in San Fran, and a lot of conventions have been adding a booth to the events (PMX and Fanime both had booths on site), so I've had the chance to rack up a collection. I always feel bad leaving the stickers floating around my room, and I feel like I'd be wasting them if they were just stuck on any old thing so this is what I came up with instead!

All the pages are postcard sized, and tucked into my Memorial Cake photo album I bought at PMX this last year.

The first two pages I did. They're a little more simple; I hadn't gone totally crazy yet!

BFF page! I had to take puri with my two best loli friends, right?

Of course, a page of me and my boyfriend. He's wearing the bunny ears from my lucky pack.

This is the most recent page I've done. I just finished it. It's from the SF lucky pack meetup

Nice! When you're old and you find it on a shelf and dust it off, you'll remember everything and be so happy you saved all of them. At least that's how everyone in my family feels when they find childhood scrapbooks. razz It's a really beautiful way to save memories, keep it up!

How darling!
What an excellent way to keep your memories!!
I had to look up what "purikura" was for the purposes of posting here. XD

A site you might be interested in is Scrapblog.com.
If you have a lot of digital photos (or photos you've PuriCute-ified),
you can use the browser-based software there to make digital scrapbook pages.
Your completed Scrapblogs get a permanent url that you can post wherever,
so you can invite all of your buddies to come to your page and look at them.
For a fee, you can have them publish your digital Scrapblog into a tangible book form, too.

That is an adorable way to immortalize memories. I really like how you put it all together. You're quite creative.

everyone i know who ever does purikura has a book. I have one that's mine, and then one where i keep ones that my friends gave me. You know how sometimes you get the 'gift set' of tiny tiny ones on the side? We swap them and its really cute. heart 4laugh

I know some people have sticker books, but they're just the plain white pages; I hadn't seen anything like this before but I figured it wasn't the first time it's been done. razz Most of my friends just leave strip together and put them on a corkboard, or binder/pencilbox or something.

Hey! LOL yeah, once in a while when I get really bored. I come to try help noobs out a little.

I need to fill it up all the way! But, I'm studying in the Netherlands right now, and I'm not really sure if there are any purikura machines here.

I thinking of doing this type of thing on a commission basis if you'd be interested. It wouldn't be until July though. razz

Thanks smile They're too awesome to no use.

Yep! I plan on visiting mFashion and hopefully attending some meetups in Amsterdam and/or the Hague; but I don't think there are any other girls here in Nijmegen.

If this is where I think it is (the purikura on the top floor of the japan center near the book store) I was there yesterday and did some purikura with my friends (I wasn't in lolita though). It was my first time, so much fun!!! This is such a fun and very cute idea.
