Post here about what you hope and may know for Diamond and Pearl.

From Serebii.net:

Quote:
Pok魯n Diamond & Pok魯n Pearl are new games that were recently announced for the Nintendo DS.

It is unknown what these games contain, but logic dictates they are the new RPG's featuring more Pok魯n including our friend, Gonbe (Note: Now known officially as Munchlax).

I saw the movie too. Thanks to Pokemopolis, I was snarky the whole time I was watching. Nothing more fun than MSTing Pokémon movies.

They all went downhill after the Third one. U __u;;;

But back on topic, I'm a bit... eh about Diamond and Pearl. Mainly because I don't own a DS yet. Also because very little is known about them, thus nothing to get excited over.

I am excited about the next game for GameCube, though. I've seen screenshots of it, and boy! Hopefully it'll just as fun and awesome, and dark as Colosseum.

Diamond and Pearl I think will be the best yet because each game series gets better...

The movies are still good by the way.

Oh, I don't know about that. I personally liked the fourth one--Imagine Celebii as a pixie stix addict and it becomes just plain gorgeous. Plus: Does anyone else think that the reason Oak might like Ash so much is a feeling of predestination, sorta?

Pssht.

The games, so far, have peaked at Crystal; it had night/day/dusk, improved graphics and music, and not to mention the animated sprites.

Everything afterwards just had better graphics.

I know. I've seen it.

Nothing can top Entei, though. = __=

That's how I am. I didn't even know what a Gameboy was until I discovered Pokémon. So that's when I got my color one. I didn't buy a GBA until Ruby and Sapphire had been out, and I don't plan on buying DS until they make Diamond and Pearl. I got my N64 for the Pokémon games also. Other games just don't interest me that much, though I do have a few non Pokémon games. The only thing I have that I didn't get for Pokémon was my Playstation.

I found this, I cant link to the site though...

Pokemon In 2005
New GBA, GCN and DS games planned.
By Anoop Gantayat
December 29, 2004 - Tsunekazu Ishihara and Junichi Mazuda, both big names in the world of Pokemon development, have offered comments to Japan's Dengeki Online game website hinting that 2005 will be a big year for the Pokemon franchise in Japan.

Ishihara, the head of the Pokemon Company, reveals that 2005 will see the release of Pokemon games for the GameCube, Game Boy Advance and DS. Ishihara also makes mention of the opening of Pokemon Park in the city of Nagoya (My comment: Wait a second, a real park? Next there will be pokemon robots biggrin and I will probally get one biggrin ) along with the release of another Pokemon movie.
Specifically in reference to the upcoming Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond, Junichi Mazuda, who heads up developer Game Freak, reveals to Dengeki that 2005 will see him place all his power into the development of these first DS entries in the main Pokemon line of games. "It will become a new type of game that offers a number of new forms of play," he states, suggesting that we can expect something beyond the current RPGs. (My Comment: Beyond wat rpgs? The rest have all ready been blown away by whirwind attack from Pokemon. I would like to see a multi training mission were you act as more than 1 person, I am not sure about a big 2 player mission because it would end up like Pikmin. Any how I am sure it will be as amazing as they say)

Nintendo of America's Pokemon releases trail the Japanese versions by a few months, but with Pokemon Emerald(My Comment: Hmmm maybe 2 birthdays this year will work... I forgot about Emerald.. I am way behind.) due out in April and a number of Pokemon games set to follow, we expect 2005 to be a big year for Pokemon in America as well. (My Comment: It seems every year is big for Pokemon.... except the one.... when people thought it was cool to not like Pokemon... crying ).

Munchlax= I thought you can all ready get one I told my friend... well he named his Snorlax Munchlax and told me he did get one. Munchlax rocks.

Big Things for NDS Pokemon
Expect a lot from Diamond, Pearl and Dash.
By Anoop Gantayat
October 20, 2004 - Nintendo pretty much confirmed NDS as the successor machine to the Game Boy Advance with the announcement that Pokemon Diamond & Pearl would be appearing on the system. As successors to the mega million selling series of portable Pokemon RPGs, these games could end up bringing the franchise's massive fan base to the new portable.

In a recent interview found in Japan's Famitsu magazine, Nintendo revealed that it's not cutting corners on the game. Commented Tsunekazu Ishihara, president of Creatures Inc., "We've developed many entries in the Pokemon series. Among those, titles such as Pokemon Ruby & Saphire and Emerald are the backbone of the series. We've started developing the NDS Pokemon Diamond & Pearl as the true successors to these games. They will be the definitive entries in the series, so please look forward to them."
The good stuff doesn't end with Diamond & Pearl, though. Ishihara also talked about Pokemon Dash's dual cartridge feature with the magazine. Nintendo revealed at last week's press conference that gamers would be able to connect a Game Boy Advance Pokemon cartridge to the NDS while Dash was being played. Ishihara clarified: "While playing Pokemon Dash, if you insert a Pokemon-related Game Boy Advance cartridge, your Pokemon will become a race course. It will become a fun course in the shape of a Pokemon."

Racing on a course shaped like a Pokemon should be lots of fun for Poke-freaks, as should playing through the definitive Pokemon RPGs. Pokemon fans will definitely want to take a close look at the DS later this year.

Aftereading that I wonder if we will be able to connect a gba with ds for pkmn trading. Pokemon has turned the Nintendo stuff into a huge transformer all ready. One day youll see me out side with my text messaging Game Cube.
