Dontcha just love secondary accounts? wink Sir Severus Snape Twilight is a horrid series. It's terribly written. (How many synonyms for "sparkle" are there, really? Ms. Meyer seems to have invented a few of her own.) The characters are so two-dimensional they may as well be made out of paper. The only feelings they ever seem to have are obsession and depression. And I do not understand all these young people who claim to love the characters. Don't they understand that this Cullen fellow is actually poor Cedric Diggory, infected with vampirism and turned into an Inferi? Jacob Black also happens to be an unregistered wolf animagus, not an actual werewolf. (I'm sure Remus Lupin has a few choice words on the subject.) And this Bella seems to have no personality. I suspect she suffered a Dementor's Kiss and lost her soul, and thereby her personality. Keep in mind I would never deign to read such filth. I only know all this from the useful Muggle invention known as Wikipedia. Yes, I wrote that. Pwnage, innit? Feel free to quote me. No, I'm not just fishing for compliments. xd Anyone else written anything awesome and anti-Twilight lately?

I always interrupt Twitards when they're talking about how wonderful that shitty series is, and then when they start to bash HP I say "Just remember girls. Robert Pattison was originally in Harry Potter before he was a sparkling f**".

I wrote a bit more regarding the superiority of Harry Potter; here it is in full: Quote: Twilight is a horrid series. It's terribly written. (How many synonyms for "sparkle" are there, really? Ms. Meyer seems to have invented a few of her own.) The characters are so two-dimensional they may as well be made out of paper. The only feelings they ever seem to have are obsession and depression. I suspect she suffered a Dementor's Kiss and lost her soul, and thereby her personality. Harry Potter, on the other hand, is a marvellous series. It's well written (J.K. Rowling is an excellent reporter). The characters are interesting and actually have personalities. They have motives other than obsession. They have lives even when they're not with their love interests. (All of these are things that the Twilight characters don't have or do.) What's more, the Harry Potter series actually has a goal (to defeat Lord Voldemort), with obstacles along the way. Even the first chapter of the first book has more of a plot than Twilight. Now, STFU or get hexed. Win, IMO. 3nodding

Yes, that's a wonderful quote! I remember for school, I wrote a report saying how the Vampire Kisses novels were a lot better than Twilight, and i made comparisons about the characters, plot and whatnot.

No, I don't really like vampires. I like LOTR, Harry Potter, and Chronicles of Narnia, though.

Hmm...if you're into more of the fantasy, the you should read the Howl's Moving Castle books! most people just know the movie, but that was actually a film adaptation of a book from the '80s...and they're actually completely different. it's also got 2 sequels. I recommend that series, though!
Sorry, changed the subject from the main topic.... sweatdrop

Isn't it kind of egotistic to call something "pwnage" and have it be about yourself?
I know HP is better than Twifail, but seriously? You're just as obsessed.
