!Biography: Vaan's parents were both killed due to the darkness. His parents were brainwashed when he was 3 to kill him. His father always kept a gun. Vaan waas trained well to use weapons and had the heart to kill. He pulled the gun on them. He shut his eyes. Tears fell from them as he pulled the trigger twice. Both took bullets in the head. He has vowed to destroy the darkness no matter what it takes. Vaan can be demonic at times. He loves to kill, the spray of blood from his opponents pleases him, so do girls.

Biography: Karyoku has always been set apart from the normal children- because if they came close they would get burnt. Since the age of 5, everyone noticed that he was different, because there seemed to be a constant heat emanating from his body; when angered, this heat manifested in the form of bright blue flames, which would burn only what he desired it to. the elders sealed his power away, fearing that if it became too powerful, he would eventually destroy the village; they sealed his sacred power into a sword, crafted from blessed metal from the sun temple of Amaterasu- creating a pyro-kitsune guardian to guide the boy in his use of the power when he came of age. Now, 20 years afterwards, Karyoku and his kitune yugure have developed a close bond and a matured control of Karyoku's flame sword, kami no hogatana.

However, he doesn't want to lose his image, so he doesn't fight with him or against him. So, even at this time, Gangu keeps to his city life. A life of murder. Of theft. Of survival. Though Gangu believes in the true Sabata (or so he thinks) that he'll complete his goal. He watches from the sidelines and secretly prays to Sol.
