So, a friend and I were bored, sitting in lunch and waiting for the next bell to ring so we could go to class and we started this...thing. One person says a word, and then you say the first thing (a word or a mental image) that comes to mind. I thought it might be kind of fun to try in here and see how different people make different mental connections to words.

I think of swatting at someone if they keep poking you, so you swat their hand to get them to quit.
Or, at least that's the theory.

Yeah, next person should pick a word that's somewhat associated with their response. I'm thinking this should be moved to the games section but I'll leave it up to you; I don't know what your intentions in writing this were after all. xD

I was really asking Bridget but it seems she hasn't looked at this yet. I mean, it is her thread. But yeah, either way I think you are right. It should probably be moved to the game sub forum.
When I see blue, I just think of the color. xD Nothing else really.
EDIT:OK, I'll come up with another word.

Illusive: Eh, yeah, I wasn't on much since I posted that until today. sweatdrop I didn't realise this wasn't in the games forum...it's where it was supposed to be, but I also had a bunch of Gaia tabs open, so it could have been written in the wrong spot. whee
You guys have the right idea; I would have let say, 3 people go and then tried a new word, but this works too. biggrin But like Le_Scratch said, part of the whole game is to try to keep your word related somehow to the previous person's word. You don't have to give an explanation for why you chose the word, but be ready to explain if someone asks. biggrin

Corsets immediately make me think of Elizabeth Swan off of Pirates of the Caribbean and how she falls off the wall and into the water in the first movie after wearing a corset for the first time. I am SO glad females no longer have to wear them today!!!

Scalawag? It sounds like some kind of pirate slang so it makes me think of pirates or Pirates of the Caribbean.
