(Mostly because she swears, hits kids, listens to awesome music, and throws things.)
So my whole English class basically is Twitards. (Except me and 3 friends who sit in the corner and laugh all class, but somehow make better grades than everyone else)
We're reading "The Odyssey" right now, and first of all, it's awesome. Some Twitard was complaining about how long and boring it is, she started comparing it to Twilight.
"Odysseus wants to be with his wife at home like Bella wants to be with Edward, but people like that wolf kid, or in Odysseus's case, sirens and goddesses, keep getting in the way. Yeah, I read those vampire books. They're horrible books, but I read them anyway."
Then some dumbass was like "BuT TWYLITE IS TEH pwnZ0R!!1!" and she was like, "No. You know what's good in the vampire genre? Anne Rice. Adult vampire novels. Stuff you wouldn't understand."
This woman is my favorite teacher.

I luckily don't have an English teacher, but if I did I could only hope that he or she would be that awesome.

Some kid compared it to Twilight but then I compared it to LOTR and Harry Potter and pwned 'em. biggrin

Except for my Psych teacher. She keeps reading Jodi Picoult even though I tell her ALL OF HER BOOKS ARE THE SAME. Even so, she's a better writer than Meyer. By lightyears.

I think about two or three teachers that teach me know what Twilight is >_> It's not really that big of a thing here, I've never even heard the words "TWILIGHT ZOMGSJSG" in my school. Thank god. And we don't have Twilight shirts.. maybe a button or a bag, not much more (We don't have Hot Topic here)

Can your English teach trade places with my English teacher?
However the most Twilight ever got mentioned is when we talked about the Vampire chapter in How to Read Literature Like a Professor. And now the Twitard of my art class keeps trying to bring it up since then.

That's awesome!
My english teacher is super nice though most of the class is idiots from the suburbs who think they're "gangsta". I think that might be why I seem to be one of his favorite students. He makes refferences to all sorts of popular books, but the only time Twilight came up was on the first day of school when he handed out sheets about the difficulty of different books.

We call her the "Nazi Chick" because she loves to get all the band kids in trouble for no good reason except breathing. Pssh. All the band kids TRY to get in trouble. Seriously, we swear, throw things, hit eachother, yell... all for attention. That's why we (low brass) play the loudest.

My English teacher has read about Twilight, and he says he hates it.
