Well, my first day in the guild should be marked with a first journal post. Might not be much, but here it goes!
Hiya, I'm Tim. To whom it concerns: I want to be a novelist in the near future. I have written one book so far. It took me about 2 years to write a weak rough draft. Now that I have made a goal for myself to become a novelist and write great books, I'm am now on the final draft of the book. Now, I'm moving on to bigger and better things. A sequel to the book has come into play, as the friends I have always been sending the first book have requested a sequel (and I had ideas for one anyway).
Now, I'm going through the strange new task of writing a new book with a brand new storyline, new characters, new plot, new world. So far, I like it a lot, and think it has a lot of potential though I'm not far into it, yet.
Other than that, I'm just a normal guy. I play a lot of video games, hang out with friends, go to school, work, and do whatever else.
Well, I'll be as active around the guild as I can, and I hope that what I contribute it useful! See you all around the forums!!

Current story progress! (Yea, there's more than one, I know, I tend to bury myself in multiple stories sweatdrop ) Anyways, this is just my quick referral to my word count... quick and painless (Somewhat).
The Ultimate War (Truly Ultimate) <-- my rewrite of my main story
6,668 words - Original rough draft - 24, 968 Goal - 50k by completion (In NORMAL people terms - first word count is the current word count, 24,968 is the count of the first draft. 50k is my goal for the final draft by the time it's done)

Oiii, thought I'd throw in an update to this thing. I haven't since I first joined the guild... >.<
Subject: Burying myself alive!!
I need to settle on ONE book to write... I now have four books going through my head, and I never really take the time to write much of them down other than rough, mostly hand-written, notes. So, if anyone has suggestions, help? biggrin
I don't write a ton, however I just bought a brand new laptop!! So now I intend to be writing more as I can take my stuff with me easily on the go (and when I type on this thing... I just feel so amazing xd )
Anyway... just thought I'd make a quick post. Looks like the guild might be making a comeback again, and I definitely still want to be a part of it!!

To be honest, I never really left... but I didn't post anything either sweatdrop I've just been lurking in the depths... but now maybe we're getting back to business and getting things going again! Honestly, Desert, how'd you do it? xd

Holy CRAP another post!!
Subject: Chugging along... finally.
Sheesh, I can't believe it, but I'm actually writing a fairly decent amount these past few days... Decent for ME being... 250-400 words a day (I know some of you other people write like 2k a day... yea, not me >< )
Anyways, I'm just kinda marking another send-out for myself. My 'send-outs' are when I send my story to my close friends who I know well and talk to often ^^ But finally! Another send-out. I get one out to my friends like... once every 2-3 months... I don't think it's enough for wanting to write lots in the future >.>
But hallelujah, I'm finally writing a bit. Hooray for my laptop, hooray for Summer, and hooray for quiet Sunday afternoons filled with writing stufff ^^
All right... just thought I'd post that biggrin

I like what we do here and I want it to last smile
Also, it isn't all me. It's everyone that is finding time to update and post a comment here and there. I'm just glad people are still readily joining.

Whoa! Another post less than 20 days after the last one :O
Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and throw out how much school SUCKS. And I'm still in High School... what'll I do in college? >< Ahh well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, eh?
What I really wanted to briefly mention is that I went to Barnes and Noble today and picked up a book on writing and publishing. It caught my eye and it was the last one left, so I thought it could be worth it...
It's called 'Your First Novel' (See link below) and it seems to have some pretty sweet information in it... but I just bought it a couple of hours ago and haven't really gotten into it yet.
So, I'll be back to let you all know how good it is and whether you should pick it up razz
BUT, has anyone else ever bought one of these kinda books before? If so, how did that blow over? Just curious.

Hello PYP!
I AM still here! So ha! Actually, to be fully honest, I haven't even logged into Gaia for a couple weeks now >.> I've been super busy with school, work, and a couple other things... So I haven't had a lot of time to myself - Thank God for Sundays, right? =D
Anywho, I don't have a lot to say because I haven't had much time to write lately D= So I'm just kinda popping in to say that I'm back! (Again >.>) I'll do as much as I can, though I feel that most of my posts won't come until weekends... or maybe Tuesdays. Tuesdays are good days for me... Don't ask xD
