Hi all, this is mainly a rant .... I am just kind of pissed off with my parents and sister don't even try to talk about it, you see, my grand father died about one year ago...... and no one in my family will even try to talk about it ..... I feel like I am the only one who even misses my grandpa, not to mention remember that he is dead .... emo emo emo crying crying crying crying crying crying

They probably don't mention it because they want to forget. They want to forget their loss. They want to forget the pain.
You need to do the same. You have to move on. Forgive and forget. Because, if you bring up your grandpa, you'll be sending the pain and sadness of losing him right back to your family members, making you the greater of two evils.

.... I guess you are right .... but still i prefer to vent, I hate keeping quiet, all that dose is shreds me to pieces from the inside, it feels like it is tearing at my heart when I have to keep quiet and try to forget about a great man who lived a great life! ..... emo emo emo

I feel the same way. No one mentions the death of my grandma...she died december 20th and its like no one thought about her after the funeral. I miss her everyday and i hurt knowing she's not around. She lived the best life, always kind, nicest person you did meet, eager to tell a story, had no problem helping anybody...christmas wasnt much the same after that. the 25th came around and it was morbid, we all knew her funeral was only around the corner.... emo

Well man i tottaly understand...my dad died a couple of years ago and my family except my grandpa doesnt talk about it. He says that its better to forget the bad things that happened but rember the good times. thats what i do but who am i to say what u should do...
