I got myself a book on sale regarding fashion and I had to go and measure myself. Since I had my measuring tape out, I decided to measure The Girls. Turns out I deflated and my B/C cup bras aren't going to work. They're old anyways. I can't wear under wire and wireless is impossible to find without taking a long trip to Vic's Secret in the USofA. The alternative - braless. Anyways, did some research about going braless and found it very comforting. I'm going to do it! And still work at a bank. ninja http://inventors.about.com/od/bstartinventions/a/brassiere.htmhttp://hubpages.com/hub/Why-I-Go-Bra-Free http://www.etsy.com/shop/OnTheInside?section_id=5170818 How do you view braless women? What are your thoughts about seeing nipples through clothing? Will you let your Girls out? Do you already? What are your thoughts on how society views breasts as sexual objects?

I rarely do it; pierced nipples are way too obvious. XD But I have a new dresses and shirts with padding so I go braless while wearing those! Although when I'm at home I'm either topless or wearing a shirt without a bra!~
I don't care if I see someone elses nipples through their shirt.. unless they have really saggy boobies. ;----;

In the summer I wear tanks with built in shelf bras under my tanks. It's like a sports bra effect. I am a lot of different sizes (large B all the way to small D) so it makes it hard to wear one thing consistently. During normal deflated times, I go bra-less around the house some days but I don't think I could go out with nothing there. It feels too weird. I don't mind seeing people bra-less who are small enough to pull it off, but I don't think I'm one of them. More power to those who can though!

I haven't worn a bra in about two years. I just find them so constricting and uncomfortable. I've also heard that they could even be bad for your health or for your breast tissue. I don't work outside the home, so that makes it easier to go braless. When I do go out, I often wear a poncho or a lot of layers anyway (I'm in NY, so it's often cold). I have fairly large breasts (DD), but I have a few shirts that actually look really good without a bra and make me look pretty perky. If a shirt doesn't look so good without a bra, if it's too warm for a poncho or a few sweaters, and if I'm not entirely comfortable having my nipples show (dinner with Dad for example) then I will sometimes wear one of the tank tops with the built in wireless bra. For anyone who's interesting in breastfeeding, breasts as sexual objects, the exposed breast taboo, and the like then I would recommend checking out http://www.007b.com/ (PG-13ish for nonsexual breast and breastfeeding pictures).

This is going to be a lame post (because it's late) but wanted to give an update. Gone without restraints for two days - I didn't think I would have an issue with it, but it really feels very uncomfortable from a social standpoint to be dressed business (trousers, collared shirt) and not have a bra on. I can say though, at night, my boobies thank me for not being restricted. It's really opened my eyes to how sexual our mammary glands are viewed. I had this discussion with my boyfriend and he is very firm in his stand point that breasts are sexual. He had absolutely no solid proof, other then "they just are". We've some new hires at my place of work. I noticed that the two gentlemen did a once over on my chest. I'm not sure if it's because "something was different" or if it's ingrained into the American male to check out knockers. I can say that I didn't inspect their "lower area" (can't think of any cutesy names). Thinking about it, I don't have one thing I fixate on men. I think it's safe to say that most guys like boobs, but I can't say that I will always fixate on a mans eyes, chest, etc. as it's different for each guy. I read on one of the websites about a person in Africa telling the women there, who go topless all the time, about the Western fixation with breasts. The African women were flabbergasted. I am going to invest in some reusable silicon covers so that my chest doesn't double as a thermometer: http://dimrs.com/Anyways, to have this ramble come to an end, I'd love to have more views on how society deemed breasts as sexual - more breast the better (as can be seen in breast augmentation surgeries). Breasts sell products. And, how that it's "explicit" to show n****e, even though men have nipples too.

I personally don't like to go braless most times, I typically find it uncomfortable, but at night or when I am in a mood where I just need to be unrestricted I love it. For me part of it is definitely societal for me. I have very prominent nipples and unless I'm wearing a padded bra, no matter the temperature, they show through my clothing. Growing up I got teased a lot and so it really bugged me and I still have a couple of issues about it.

As long as a bra fits well and doesn't have wires, they don't bother me. confused
As far as breasts being viewed as sexual go, all I can say is that of course they are! As a trait unique to women, they're one of the things that says to a man's hormones, "YO! POSSIBLE MOTHER OF YOUR OFFSPRING HERE! MUST MATE WITH!!" wink
Of course, just about any trait can act as a signal to our hormones, especially if it's usually kept slightly out of sight. It's a commonly-known fact that a slightly-clothed woman is more tantalizing than a completely-nude one. No, really.

I go braless all the time xd But as an A cup, sometimes you can't even tell. I think you should be comfortable and ******** what other people think... sorry. I do try to hide the nipples, otherwise I feel a bit naked. But why wear something uncomfortable just because some people might think poorly of being braless.
I do usually wear bras at work, because I work in partnership with the police and we wear uniforms and I want to look professional (so no nipples revealing their location) but I wear a sports bra or an undershirt with a shelf.

I've gone braless most of the time since the early '70's. A B cup is no big deal, as far as sagging is concerned, if I'm any example. I don't go braless in public, though, any more than I would go shoeless. A small bit of tape, strategically placed, takes care of the nipples flashing in most clothes, so that's got nothing to do with my hesitance to go braless in public. I think that I don't feel "dressed" without a bra, regardless of the fact that I'm not naked!
Maybe it's like armor to me, or something. I've been stalked, flashed, held at gunpoint----so I think it may be an "armor" thing.
That being said, one of the girls works at VS, and I received a stack of VS boxes for Christmas. A well-fitted bra feels almost non-existant! I really have enjoyed all those goodies, plus the fact that my 19-year-old thinks of me as a girlfriend. heart wink And a bra? Let me check---yep, I'm wearing one now! blaugh
Hey, Pirhan---the semi-annual clearance sale is on now at VS.com. Just shop online! The email deals are really good.

I only go braless at home in my PJ's. I have giant boobs (36E) so they sag to my belly button if I don't wear a bra, which makes me feel just gross. Not to mention I need the support or they would bounce around too much and hurt like a b***h. I even wear a sports bra with my swim suite because those built in bras are always too small and don't do anything for me support wise.
As for seeing other people go braless. If she has small breasts then it doesn't bother me and sometimes you can't even tell. If you have giant boobs like me it's much too obvious and just doesn't look very good at all. But hey, it's your choice.

I do it sometimes. Mostly if I know for the most of the day I'm going to be wearing a hoodie because otherwise (to myself at least) I am kinda noticeable. I don't really have to worry about sagging because I'm a 34A...

I always wear a bra except to bed. 38/Cs. When I have a bra that fits well and looks nice, I could care less about the rest of my outfit. It makes me feel more confident and sexier. I also then tend to look down at my chest a lot. I <3 Breasts.

Vanilla eXee I also then tend to look down at my chest a lot. I <3 Breasts. Thank God. I thought I was the only one that did that. xd So The Girls have been free since I first posted this and I tell you, give an inch, take a mile. Them things don't like to be confined at all anymore. Tank tops with the elastic shelf bra don't work - I have to go simple tank top. I'm going to try and make simple camisoles with my new old sewing machine. I really recommend going without and experiment. I don't feel like a stand in weather girl, and I don't feel bare or self conscious, even if I look like a little boy. If anything, I feel really comfortable and don't get achy/sore at night when I put my jammies on.

I have several friends who don't wear bras. I go braless on occasion but my girls are too big for it to feel comfortable to do in public. I still wear an undershirt or a bra-lined cami.
