At the top of this mountain is the sacred lands of the Great Wolf Tribe(the wolf summoning), called the Fields of Ookami. The Journey to the top of the mountain is a treacherous one, with many wild animals that whose blood has not been impurified by the outside influences of the world, making them much larger and more cunning. The trail is riddled with obstacles that are all but impassible by any but the most daring of men.
(to reach the Fields of Ookami you must write at least 3 posts, at least 2 paragraphs long, at least 4 sentences long each, saying how you overcome the obstacles on your way to the top, ie wild animals, natural and "magical" obstacles, just make me believe that your character actually had to try to get to the top)

In a small tornado of static and lightning, the forested edge at the base of Mt. Fenerus was disturbed for the first time in thirty years. From the cloud, two figures emerged: One, a boy with gravity defying, spiky white hair, head still spinning from his first experience of Shunshin, the other, a tall man with flowing silver hair, a jet black battle uniform, and a katana of impossible length.
"Clear your head, boy." The man said to the child, steadying him with a hand on the shoulder. "This is your first test. You must find what lies at the top of this mountain before I will teach you further. It is finally time for you to claim your destiny."
And with that, the man took his hand off the boy's shoulder, and disappeared. It was not the showy disappearance of a shunshin, not the stealthy disappearance of an assassin. It seemed to transcend both of these, for just as easily as he had been there a moment before, he was simply...
...Gone.

Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Lotus of the Mist Fire | Lightning | Earth | Water | Wind
"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made..."Stumbling as he fell out of the torrent of electricity, Kaizen's eyes were wide with shocked surprised. Looking around the small clearing where they had appeared, Kaizen was only half listening to the words of his silver-haired mentor, his attention taken up by a sound drifting on the wind. It was like a single clear note, seeming to carry with it a promise of something greater for those willing to seek it out. As the man disappeared in the blink of an eye, Kaizen was already darting away through the forest, weaving through the trees with a grace and speed achievable only by those who practice Butoukai Sono Raijin.
As he grew closer, Kaizen could hear the song more and more clearly as more notes became audible in the distance. As the music swelled, the sweet melody rising to a final, glorious crescendo, Kaizen suddenly stopped upon the shore of a small pool of water at the base of a waterfall. Looking about the cliff side around the small clearing, Kaizen's stark-white gaze was met by a dozen amber hued stares. Rising from their rest, twelve massive wolves stared down at Kaizen from on high, their cool eyes oddly intelligent. Moving with incredible grace for its size, an enormous black wolf climbed down the cliff-face down towards Kaizen, its amber eyes intent."... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear."

Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Lotus of the Mist Fire | Lightning | Earth | Water | Wind
"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made..."Stopping a few feet from Kai, the enormous wolf eyed the young man with those oddly intelligent eyes, each the size of a tea saucer. One hand resting lightly on the hilt of his blade, Kaizen simply stood there, matching the wolf's curious gaze with a steady look of his own stark-white hues. As Kaizen stood there under the scrutiny of close to a dozen wolves, he couldn't help but think that something seemed familiar about the huge wolf that stood before him, as if he had seen the creature in some half-remembered dream. After a few silent moments of examination, the great beast revealed its razor sharp teeth in a vicious semblance of a grin before moving forward to lick the young man's face.
Blinking in surprise, Kaizen couldn't help but smile as recognition finally dawned on him, he had met this wolf before, though at the time the creature had worn fierce looking armor. Lifting a hand to scratch behind the great beast's ear, Kaizen said happily, "It's been a long time, hasn't it Rahu. I still owe you for saving my life all those years ago, if it weren't for you, I would have just been another stain of blood on road of the village." Turning an eye on Kai, Rahu made a noise that could only be described as an amused laugh.
Turning his focus to the path leading past the other wolves and further up the mountain, Kaizen's grin faded away, replaced once more by that cold stare. He was far from the top of the mountain, and the sun was already high in the sky. If he had any chance of getting to the top before dark, he would have to move swiftly. With one last glance towards Rahu, Kaizen pat the beast on it massive shoulder and said, "Well, I'm afraid we'll have to catch up some other time. I have a mountain to climb." With that Kaizen took off, leaping up the mountainside from rock to rock, his path clear and his footing sure. "... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear." Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Lotus of the Mist Fire | Lightning | Earth | Water | Wind
"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made..."Leaping from out-crop to out-crop, Kaizen was making excellent time, though as large as the Mountain was, there was still a long way to go. As Kaizen moved thoughts of Ghaniri clouded his mind. What exactly was that thing? Where did it go? And perhaps most importantly, when would it be back? The thoughts were troubling, made even more so as Kaizen recalled how weak he had seemed compared to the monster. If I am not strong enough to defend myself and the ones I care for, then there is only one course of action. I must grow stronger.Shaking his head, Kaizen focused once more on the task at hand, reaching the top of this mountain. The ground seemed like a blur beneath him as he climbed ever higher, his training in Butoukai Sono Raijin making his path clear. If this was truly all that it would take to reach the top of this mountain, Kaizen would reach the top before sundown. Grinning lightly to himself, Kaizen's only warning was a vicious snarl before he was knocked to the side by a massive paw.
Bouncing across the ground, Kaizen quickly regained his wits and spun off the ground to land on his feet, blood dripping from a gash atop his brow, forcing his left eye closed. What Kaizen saw made his eyes grow wide in surprise, an enormous bear stood on it hind legs, looking down at Kaizen from where it stood over him. Mouth wide in shock quickly shifted to a determined grin. "I suppose I should have known this seemed too simple a task for you, Master." Drawing the silver-bladed Oni-Koutai from its sheath, Kaizen's eyes shifted color to a deep crimson red, his blade bursting into flame. "Well, c'mon then! I haven't got all day!""... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear."

"We are the culmination of every choice we have ever made..."As the bear fell back onto all four of its massive paws, Kaizen could feel the ground beneath his feet tremble. Grinning all the wider, Kaizen looked up in time to see the beast let out a guttural roar before barreling towards him. Taking a deep breath, Kaizen let his blade fall to his side as he waited calmly, watching every step the beast took. As the bear came within fifteen feet, already lifting one massive paw to crush him, Kaizen flew into motion. Rushing forward, Kaizen seemed to dance through the bears tree trunk sized legs, his flame-wreathed blade seeming to brush the beast gently, yet leaving viciously scored gashes.
As Kaizen spun out from under the beast, he launched himself into the air, sheathing his blade. Immediately flashing through several hand-seals, Kaizen cried out, "Goukyaku no Jutsu!, before taking a deep breath. Kaizen could feel the heat welling up in his lungs, begging to be set free. Crimson eyes alight, Kaizen exhaled, causing an enormous fireball to burst out of his mouth, towards the great beast. As the ball of flame struck the bear's flank, it burst in a fiery explosion, launching it several yards away.
Landing lightly on the ground, Kaizen wiped the blood from his face as he watched for a few moments to see if the mighty beast was still breathing. With a groan, the bear struggled to its feet, its side smoldering slightly as it looked back at Kaizen. With a grunt, the bear limped off, likely seeking a cool pool of water to lay in while it licked at its wounds. Laughing lightly, Kaizen turned to face the top of the mountain, the crimson of his eyes fading back to a crisp white. Taking a deep breath Kaizen bent at the knees then launched himself forward, his eyes seeming to hold white flame as he continued his climb up the mountain."... but sometimes, the right choice isn't always clear."
