Intercity 280 Central This is the highway that connects Carter City to its neighbors. The four-lane freeway is 20 feet above the ground, but luckily this section has an on-ramp connecting it to two of Carter City's busiest locales.

Beneath Flare, Owle slunk in, trying to keep pace with the demon. She ignored Flare's jabs, instead concentrating on running.

Suppressing a chuckle, Truewind glided along the ground after Owle, careful to keep the massive feline within the bounds of his air shield. Southwest, Flare. And don't worry about us so much; we can take care of ourselves!

The slight pain in his temple caused caused Dregnar to look up. His gaze dropped from the creature as he continued on. He wasn't sure what it was, but he didn't care. Once upon a time he might have cared, but that time had been gone for many years. As it was as long as he wasn't bothered he really didn't care what existed where. Instead he simply continued along the interstate, like he had before.

The cat and whatever it was that was flying were outdistancing him. He wasn't really in a hurry so he kept up his current pase and continued to follow the road in the direction that it lead. He didn't have any better direction to go after all.
