NO REALS
When making a guild, or joining a guild. This should be in top five of the rules for creating a profile. No Real Characters.
This shows that you are a no talent smuck and deserve to be bashed in the head with a sledgehammer.
Also another thing that is very disrespectful is playing Reals who have died. For that you deserve to be tossed into an active volcano after being hanged by your intestines.
Why not play reals, whats the big deal?
People need to stop focusing on characters they aren't and use that energy to apply to actual created characters.
Why? Because you do not see them on the computer playing as themselves do you? Do you see John Cena on the computer playing as himself against you? No, if he were he wouldn't be on television entertaining you.
If you are not one of these reals then you shouldn't be them. So people need to respect their favorite star by not playing them. Any guild that allows the use of playing reals is an instant n00b guild.
So no Undertakers, No Cenas, No AJ Styles, No Angles, No Kanes, No HHH, No Goldberg.
People DO check to see if you're playing a real contrary to popular belief.
Despite the fact that everyone loves this particular wrestler keep in mind that you ARE NOT them.
The only way that way that I would believe that you are them, is if you were on webcam with a sign with your Gaia name. Otherwise don't pretend to be who you are not.

On the other side of the fence:
Roleplaying as a Real seems to be frowned upon in the world of Wrestling Roleplay nowadays, and that is because everyone is looking at the flaws in these characters. People take reals and do what they want with them, unrealistic things, things that the character wouldn't do. They also do great injustice to the character in doing so. And of course there is the fact that you can't keep track of their accomplishments across guilds, and the continuity errors from feuding with a Created Wrestler who is in multiple guilds with different people playing the same real.
But playing a Real isn't all bad. On the contrary to what Yuke thinks, I personally think there isn't anything really wrong with it. Guilds in the golden age used to have reals all the time, and some extremely successful guilds still allow it. Afterall, at the end of the day, this is just Role Play and if you want to Play the Role of a real wrestler, then thats okay to want that. I personally find it as the perfect way to sort out good RPers from Bad because good ones will stick to the character through thick and thin and only change the gimmick to something that we could see the character doing logically.
Unfortunately, in this world of RPs now, it's nearly impossible for a CAW/Real mixxing guild to get off the ground because elitists think only CAWs should exist on gaia. So yeah, its not a good idea to allow reals unless you have a very faithful crew and members already ready to support your guild.

What Protowolf said sums up my opinion on things. It's too difficult to manage any continuity between characters. Plus people do seem to do characters in justice when playing them.
I also agree with Yuke that playing reals removes the creativity from a person, and playing a dead wrestler is down right disrespectful
There's two sides. I do agree with some of the points that both parties expressed all and all it's really the guild owner's decision to allow the usage of reals or not.

Reals can be used from time to time to help build a division. They should only be played by someone who demonstrates that they know what they are doing in roleplay...for example, no one plays Randy Orton better then Kronik...because Kronik picked a real that tied into him personally and played him to a T. Down-side-up plays The Big Show very well, and we had a damn good match in some guild a while back where he demonstrated the Big Show's size advantage, without being a god-modding ********. I think the rule of thumb for all guilds should be: no reals...until you know the rules. Make everyone at least try the CAW thing, then if it's not for them...let them play their reals, as long as they stick to the moves/mannerisms of the real that they are playing.
example. The Great Khali would not attempt a springboard move of any kind...and yes I have had a n00b go there with me.
