I don't believe in karma as a spiritual/supernatural element. I view it more as a "cause and effect" type thing. If you do kind things for people, they'll remember your kindness and reward you. If you're rude to everyone, those people will abandon you and give you what you deserve.
Believing in karma is no different from believing in luck.

I believe in karma. but thats only because i have a friend whose middle name is Karmuh that you pronounce like Karma.met him at a yugioh tournament. pretty cool guy.
now actual KARMA... thats a different story. it seems when i started doing good things for everyone (back in october) i started having good things happen to me. (Alie Valens is now my girlfriend) thats only one case of it for me.

I believe in karma. When people say "What goes around, comes around," it can be taken literally; if you continually do good things in life, good things will come back to you. And on the flip side, doing bad/evil things results in that coming back to you too. Just... it probably won't happen automatically--- when your time comes, you may have already forgotten about the action that brings it on.
In other words, do good onto others and you will be repaid (someday). Do bad onto them, it'll come back to bite you on the a** (in the future).

New age karma? not so much.
but, a different/eastern karma? very much so. To me, it was explained like this: "For every action there is a reaction", so think about what you are going to do, because the results could be negative, especially if you're doing a negative deed. (example: if you rob a bank, it'd be your karma to get arrested)

Really Karma say a person did something very spitefull to you then you find out that something bad has happened to that very person. Thats when people call it Karma well most of the people i know do.

the new age karma is a bunch of hippy s**t, but the original definition of karma probably exists, atleast from my own experience.
