Altus walked into the store, still wondering what the heck had happened when he met the Cherubi at the Cocoa cafe. Since the grass type had said she'd be back to meet him in half an hour, Altus thought it'd be a good time to finish the errand Incultyr had told him to run.

"Hey there, so you buy treasures right?" he asked the odd looking Poochyena. He confirmed it, although Altus could barely understand him.

Handing over the Fossil Bone, Altus pocketed the 1000PD.

"Thanks." He said, then went back out, ready to go meet up with the Cherubi again.

-Night of the regional ball-


The Electrike and Glaceon had come back after finding the Guild empty. After asking around only briefly, they were quickly informed that the guild was at the regional ball. The two have only recently found their ways back from the mountains beyond Thunder Ridge. They had come to the Palace to search for someone who was in the guild but, well, since the guild was busy and all...

The two of them stopped in front of Treasure Cove, and the Electrike read the sign before nodding to herself.

"Ah, this place looks good, c'mon." She pushed the door open and entered. The Glaceon yawned and follow behind. The Electrike looked around curiously at the odd assembly of "furniture" before her eyes fell on the Poochyena running the shop.

Poochyena...ah, this will not end well.

The Glaceon spotted the shopkeeper right away, and a growl raised in his throat. His tired, relaxed look of only moments ago melted away as his fur stuck up in end, suddenly frozen into lethal spikes. He hated Poochyenas and their evolution.

"Zero, no." The electrike turned to face the Glaceon. "Calm down."

The Glaceon, apparently named Zero, glared at the Poochyena before turning and walking right out of the shop, his spiky fur still on end.

"I'll be waiting outside Zosee."

Zosee the Electrike sighed and turned to the poochyena. She dug two small roughly shaped golden nuggets out of a bag harnessed to her back and handed it to him. It was all the funding her team had before their last exploration-gone-wrong.

She exited the shop, her bag 10,000PD heavier. Zero was sitting outside, staring up at the pink sky of a setting sun. His fur had thawed out now, slightly damp from the ice that had stiffened it only minutes ago. Zosee sat down next to him, nuzzling her muzzle against his neck. He returned the motion.

"Let go of it Zero...you promised you would." She told him softly.

"I know...I'm sorry Zose. It's just...hard..."

"I know."

Tolin placed two scraps of iron on the table. Claiming his simple allotment of 4,000 PD, he left the store with a nod.

Altus looked around curiously as he entered the building. He had been here once before, the day after he joined the team. He didn't linger long though, handing over the three Fossil bones and a pearl.

He left with his large sack of PD a few thousand heavier.
