~ no posting unless your somehow involved in the story

(I'm hoping a friend of mine will proof read for me)

~ no OOc here in the topic ... you can just tell me outside of it like my profile or just when you see me in the OOC topic
I think kitty found a good way to do OOC in the topic so it's okay to leave OOC/Commets as long as it's in gray and size 9 whee
~ The only people I see really interacting with Ceil later on in the story is Cozen.

~ The easiest way for me to organize is by chapters... each chapter will involve some importants in Ceil's life. From how she became a maid to other stuff that made her who she is and even things she's never tell you about in the main RP

ℂℎȃρϯȇჩ 1 "Before ..."

The rain in the mountain villages of heaven hadn’t stop since young Robin Soto died at the age of twelve. He was the only son of the village’s magic researcher and a simple housewife. He was a beloved son and brother. He left behind a mother, father, and two sisters, his stubborn older sister Marie and his baby sister Ceil.

This heartache affected the Soto family greatly but they weren’t the kind of people to allow their business to interfere with life. After the funeral, Mr. Soto locked himself back in his study while Mrs. Soto and Marie packed to leave to their maid jobs back in the royal palace. Leaving ten year old Ceil alone in their small house with her father. The creaking wood floor was heard endlessly in her mind. Her father never left his office, but Ceil tried her best to cook for him and clean the particularly abandoned house.

“Ceil …come here,”her father called out to her with his rough voice. I had forgotten you voice papa.. She hurried up the stairs to see her father waiting for her.

“Come, come… I’m going to experiment with something.”he stated

“Papa?” He didn’t talk to her so she followed him to the room. He sat in his aged leather chair and pointed at a spell book. Ceil slowly went over to the book. It was a deep shade of blue with sliver trimmings. She could easily tell it was advanced spell book, but didn’t understand her father’s reasoning. He had been training Robin to be the magic successor of the Soto line, but now that his gone …

“Ceil I want you to read the first spell and try it.”

“Papa,” she said quietly. “I don’t want to … I never did magic before and this is advanced-“She stop as she watched her father’s stone cold expression. She opened the book and saw her brother’s signature on the back of the cover. She grew uneasy and started her first magic practice.
It ended badly, sparks flying everywhere. She cried over her failure but her father didn’t stop there. He called her to practice magic every night since then. Each one had little to no progress, causing only frustration among her and her father. After a month, Ceil’s father had finally had enough. Ceil noticed a changed in her father one night and spoke to him softly over dinner.

“Papa why are you crying.”

“Daughter…I cry because you are not my son….and you are just as worthless as your Mother and Marie.” He storms out, knocking down a vase and locks himself in a room like he did before. Ceil only blamed herself and hurried to clean the broken glass. She had disappointed her father. Nothing is ever asked from her and when she’s asked, she fail miserably .Oh how could do this to papa…I like magic..But I’m no Robin.

As she scooped the glass up, tears rolled down her cheek. She held a piece of glass in her hand, pressing it hard in her palm. She felt it cut her hand but she only saw it as the punishment her father wouldn’t do. She got up from the floor and walked across the glass to her father’s door. Crying she knocked at her father’s door. “Papa..I’m..I’m..Sorry ..I am not like Ro..Ro..Robin..I’m..I’m” She stops to breath, “I’m sorry he died papa! "
He didn’t speak or open the door. Ceil was only talking to herself and left heartbroken back to her room, dropping the glass.

ℂℎȃρϯȇჩ 2 "After"

The next day she woke up with the light of morning. Ceil felt dry tears on her cheeks which reminded her of the other day. As she picked herself from her bed, she felt the sharp pain from her hand and looked at it. It was the wound from the other day. She couldn’t even recall puting the bandage on it.

“Ceil come down here, “ her father called her. She sprung up and hurried, forgetting her cut. As she rushed down the stairs she called back, “Sorry papa, I’ll make you bre-“She stopped at the end of the step. Her mother was there, alongside her sister and father. She felt sudden confusion.

“Why…are you here mama…marie..didn-“

“Ceil,” her father started in his raspy voice without looking at her “I called her..she’s here to pick you up and take you to the castle to work. Ceil frowned, “wha—but why? I.. but..”

“No ‘buts’ Ceil… pack up your things “

“Don’t bother…you don’t need anything where we are going.” She mother retorted.

Ceil started to cry, she didn’t want to leave her home...her papa. She ran up to him pleading. “No! Please I don’t want to go let me stay with you!.”

“You are ten now, you can go with mo-“

“NO I’m SORRY I’ll work harder”

“Now Ceil...”

“NO NO !! Marie didn’t have to go till she was 12!!”

“What I say goes! Now you are GOING!”
He pounded his fist into the table and the conversion ended. Ceil was forced to leave that day with her mother and sister on a long journey. She took only a small bag for the trip but had to leave everything else. She refused to smile and only glared at the people around her when everyone was saying there good byes.

“Wipe that sorry face, Ceil. I swear your just a little brat…” Her sister Marie spat at her when no one was watching. Ceil puckered her mouth, holding back tears that hadn’t stop since her sentence. Marie only rolled her eyes,

“What you’re going to cry now? Then cry stupid! It’s not changing anything.” With that her sister walked off to get her carpetbag for the trip. The only thing Ceil could do in respond was glanced at her shoes. When her mother called her to start their two day trip, Ceil had to force herself to go one without anymore crying. She didn’t want to cause anymore frustration then what was needed. For herself and her family.

ℂℎȃρϯȇჩ 3 "travel"

“My feet hurt… are we there yet!”
Ceil whined as her sandals hit the hard dirt road. They have been traveling for two days now and their journey was almost over. She had never traveled so long and so far from home and she was getting frustrated passing rock after rock. Her mood only grew worse as her whining pleads landed on deaf ears.

“Can’t we just fly from here? I’m tired and hungry! Let’s stop to eat!” She complained before the other older women decided to acknowledge her. Marie shot her an evil glare and reached behind her to grab a handful of her little sister’s light blue hair. She pulled and snarled,
“Don’t cha think I’m tired? Don’t cha think mother is hungry? You can’t be daddy’s little girl here. We are walking because the winds are too strong for you! Besides … even if we did fly won’t you complain your wings getting tired? It’s a two way road Ceil.”
With that she loosed her grasps of Ceil’s hair and turned around to face the direction they were heading.

Ceil cover her head with her hands as small tears forming in the corners of her eyes. She looked up to her mother, but she didn’t even care what Marie did. She stared with watered eyes at her mother’s side in desperation. How can she just stand there?

Feeling the stare, Mama Soto spoke in a distant voice, “You’ll have to get use to walking. In the halls of place there isn’t room for expanded wings. “With that she grew silent once again. Ceil lowered her eyes and ran her finger thru her throbbing hair.

An hour went by before anyone spoke. Ceil had been staring at her sandal as she walked along. Since she wasn’t looking she didn’t notice that the other two had stopped. She accidentally ran into Marie. “ow!”
she moaned as she quickly rubbed her nose.

“Why did we-oh”
She had no reason to finish her question. They stopped because they reached an edge of a cliff. Her breath was taken, the view over looked the main city of heaven and not only that but also the castle of their queen. She had never seen something so big, so beautiful.

“Well, the winds here on are minimal. So we’ll fly from here to the castle.” Marie she informed Ceil even though she didn’t look at her. Ceil frown at the statement. She had also never flown so far from the ground.

“But it’s a cliff? I don’t want to fly.”
She complained. This rubbed Marie the wrong way. Trying to whole back her annoyance, she forced her hands into tight fists.

“Look…you wanted to fly now here we go” She grabbed Ceil’s shirt and flew high into the air. With a lopsided smile she let go.
Ceil dropped fast and was slow to react but before she reached the rocks, her small wings flapped rapidly to stop the fall. Sister is so cruel. Ceil was in a cold sweat as her wings worked over time. Her mother sighed and flew passed her girls without another word. Marie followed and lastly Ceil gave up and hurried to catch up.

ℂℎȃρϯȇჩ 4 "welcome"

The sun was high above the sky as the three angels landed in front of the palace. Its angle in the light blue sky reflected beautifully off of it. Ceil had to tilt her small head as far as it could go to see the top towers. This was her first time seeing her new home. The other two ladies stood there with an almost bored expression. Mama Soto gave a pat to her side before she walked on in. Marie flicked Ceil’s ear as she walked behind and like always, Ceil followed them.

Reaching deep in the halls of the castle they reached an intersection. “Ceil, my room is in the west wing and I also work in that direction. You’ll be working with your sister in eastern wings. It goes without saying; your new room is in the same hall with the other girls your age.”

“I want to room with you mama!”
Ceil announced though she felt it was a futile plead. Her mother shook her head and left down the hall. Her daughters watched as he disappeared out of sight before Marie put her hand on her sister’s head.
“When she says ‘girls your age’ she means girls more my age. As of this moment, you’re the youngest new maid.” She smirked, “The others are dying to met you”

The maid’s hall was on the ground floor of the castle. She felt it lacked the magic the main palace had. The walls were plain and girls chatter was heard everywhere. As she was pushed and shoved across the narrow halls they reached the last room.
“This one is mine. It’s one of the better rooms, so keep that in mind. I share it with other girls.”

She opened the door. Ceil smiled at the pretty room. Queen size beds were placed in the room. The pale pink walls matched its lace bed set. Ceil walked in with the hope that this place won’t be so bad. She was terribly wrong.

On the bed sat the three meanest girls Ceil would ever encounter and these girls were Marie’s circle of friends. They stop there giggling and stared at the new maid. Oh … that’s rude to do... Marie stepped in front and gave them a lazy wave, "Sup, What I miss." The girl’s death glare changed on a dime as they become animated. “O my gosh! You would never guess!” They squealed in unison.

Their mindless nonsense never registered with her when they talked in unison. It was like their speech reached a pitch not understood by angels and most dogs. Ceil only watched as her sister somehow was able to understand and even replied back to the noise.

“oh really, so she really said that?”
Marie questioned her friends with little real different in her voice compared to the others. At one point of their conversion, Ceil walked over to the bed and watched the girls. They had said something and they broke up in laughter. Ceil smiled and laugh with them though she didn’t understand the joke.

The laughter grew dry as they narrowed their eyes at the girl. Marie had told them all about ceil. They don’t want to put up with a spoiled Bart so they gave hot stares and cold shoulders.

I don’t feel wanted here… Marie laughed, ”alright, nice welcome wagon you got there time to take you to your room.”

They walked back to the opening of the hall they were in. “You’re in the first room.” Marie pointed out. Ceil looked up at the door hoping her room was like that of her sister’s. She frowned deeply. The room she entered was almost the opposite of her imagination. The room was almost a perfect square with a one plain twin bed next a small window. The walls were bare of paint showing the polished wood walls. It had one closet, small bookcase, and one dresser.

Marie smiled, “And you don’t even have to have a roommate.”

“It’s small…and not painted..and and..” Ceil’s eyes watered. This always triggered an annoyance button in her sister.

“Don’t be so ungrateful, at least you got a room. The others were about to send you to live in the garden shed.
“Before ceil could do anything, she was kicked in and Marie quickly locked the door so she couldn’t get out.

“I’ll unlock this door in the morning.”
She commented before walking off without a second thought.

Moments later, the gruesome threesome came snickering over the locked door. They crowed around the door with intentions to let the little girl hear every word they were about to stage.

“ohh.. the Ceil is sure baby.”
One started

“Oh yeah, I know! She’s not even pretty.” The second replied.

“yeah Marie is so my prettier than that toadstool.”
The third added.

“Yeah I Hate her! She's not going to last a week here!”
They sneered before walking away laughing.
On the other side of the door Ceil had crawled into her new bed to hide her tearful face in a little pillow. Th-th- they don’t eve-even know me.
