Do my eyes deceive me, or does it sound like Jazz is coming back for the third movie?
His quote in Hasbro's Battle Bios [found in the link below] says, "After Mission City, everybody figured I was a goner, but thanks to RATCHET-- and a little piece of the ALLSPARK, I'm back in the game-- ready to kick tailgate and take names! Let's just see that low-down creep MEGATRON try and put his claws on me now!"
That DEFINITELY sounds like he's going to make a comeback to me. mrgreen

Hasbro makes me wonder. They never tell anything "truthful" because their objective is to sell their toys and if it means making things up that's not planned in the movie, they would probably do it.
I won't encourage holding your breathe on it until we hear more from Bay.

OMFG if this is true I am very happy!
But here's some bad news... in an interview with Bays they were asking him about Jazz and what hasbro says. And here's what I found. (It was on Teletraan I, which is basically the Wikipedia dedicated to Transformers):
"Despite his quite unambiguous death in the film, the packaging for the Target-exclusive Jazz redeco claims he survived and was repaired by Ratchet, choosing new colors because the silver "scratched too easily." Michael Bay disagrees with this, stating emphatically, "Jazz is dead." The bio on the redeco is thus from a micro-continuity."
So I think that this quote is just a toy "micro continuity" thingy... but still, keeping my hopes up. Jazz was my FAVORITE. (%*#$ you, Megatron.)

Didn't we hear Jazz resurrection rumors for movie two? Nothing came of it then, nothing will come of it now.

Let's face it people, Bay killed Jazz in the first movie because he didn't realize how important he was to the Transformer series as a whole (stupid, stupid Bay! scream ), so now he'll refuse to Jazz to come back.
Knowing Bay, he'll probably bring in Sunstreaker and make him a more important character than Bumblebee. blaugh And if I'm wrong about Bay and he actually allows Jazz to come back, then you can throw fruit at me.

i'm not gonna get my hopes up cause with bay... heck! he made screamer (1 of the most <3 d-cons in g1) look like a fraggin dorito! so he prob do somethin that make us all wanna kill him with chainsaws...( like when i 1st saw screamer like that i screamed in the movie theater"i'm gonna MURDER bay!!!" but thnk god he didn't put wrp or tc in it or-) *cough*back 2 subject he might...i really hope so cause jazzy is my fav autobot! (i personally h8 the autobots but jazz is my fav<3)
