I was in the event when i ran out of stuff i was willing to give. I decide to hit up the market place to get cheap items but...its a hellhole there. Dont go there. I decide (And its cheaper) To buy cheap clothes while Carling. So while i'm carling i've stucked up 250 Neutral Dress Starter Shirt. If you have better advice plz share.

Unfortunately I'm doing it the same way Dx though I'm only up to 50 because putting all the shirts in 1 at a time is a pain >.>

There are some cheaper items at Junk in the Trunk that only cost 2 gold (Baggy Starter Shirt, Baggy Starter Pants, Hip Starter Sneakers) verses the 5 gold that HR Wesley charges for the Dress Starter Shirts.
Also, the Long Socks there only run you 150 (male) and for females, I couldn't really tell you.

If you're lazy and didn't want to spend hours getting one cookie at a time, go buy a load of Overseer Figurines from market.
They exchange for 5 gingerbread men each. ^^

My advice is to not participate in the event at all. I think its a bit ridiculous to spend all that gold for the garbage wings. You can get of the items cheeply, but those wings are a ridiculous feate.
Plus gaia is advertising their cash shop like crazy... I just gave up.. I miss the old days sometimes... when Santa gave everyone just one hat... and if you were nice you got shoes ...

Good News: I happened to have a massive stockpile of crap items I was too lazy to trash.
Bad News: Included in that pile were recipes which could not be donated. sad

Sparing 10 Gold for a cheap house item to receive 1k for and 250 Gold for Socks that you are given 2k for in exchange is well worth the trouble I would think. Especially for those pinching on their gold pieces.
