I actually saw the Lautner SNL. Now I have a question because of it. Is there some Twihards and Anti's can get along on?
Hate for Bella Swan, even if our reasons differ?
They hate Bella because she's 'in the way' of their fictional perfect boyfriend.
We hate her because she's a stupid personality-less 'heroine' (Ha ha, good one) setting Feminism back.
Weird how things work, huh?

Hating something is like being religous to me, as long as you don't push your views or bash those who don't agree we can be friends lol

Me and a girl who I shall refer to as Waffles were friends because of a mutual love of Invader Zim and The Legend of Zelda, but she was a Twilight fan. So yes. I suppose there are some things we can agree on.

O,o I have a friend who calls me Canada Waffles... because he's American and I'm Canadian. That's kind of strange.

Two of my close friends like Twilight. We get along as long as we don't talk about it much. They love the story, I say it's stupid. They're not Twitards though.

I suppose there are some things we can agree on. Invader Zim and The Legend of Zelda are the 2 of the 3 best things in the world. The third is the Beatles. mrgreen Can I be the replacement Waffles? I believe antis and pros can be friendly over the subject. My friend is a huge fan of Twilight "for the plot" but we do agree on some serious points.

I've just watched that too and that was one epic failure of an SNL. I hope they were'nt paying him for that. However, that was some cool martial arts stuff. Taylor Swift's monologue song Hosting was much more interesting, entertaining, and funny. "You might think I'd bring up Joe That guy who boke up with me on the phone, But I'm not going to talk about him In my monologue.
HEY JOE! I'm doin' real well! Tonight I'm hosting Snl..."

My two best friends love twilight deeply but I love them anyway. Yesterday my friend was over and was looking through my Gaia Guilds and saw this one and began repeating "What is this crap!" over and over again and I simply replied "the best guild on earth" she looked at me dumfounded. It was the face of someone who has been owned. 8D

I have a friend who likes Twilight. We get along because we both hated the movie and the Twilight fangirls. We went out one time and just laughed and discussed what was right and wrong with Twilight. We're still friends cuz we can respect eachother's views and opinions. Plus, it's just a stupid book. We shouldn't get so worked up about it.

The majority of my friends love twilight (and yes, I am a JUNIOR in college)... but as long as we don't talk about it, it's fine.
And Taylor Launter is a cutie, I'm not going to deny that. He just had a dim light casted upon him since he's become apart of that awful series.

I think it depends. If it is a real life friendship, you should be able to as you probably knew the person before Twilight came along to ruin things for everyone.
Online... I think it really is going to depend on just how devoted the fan is. I somehow got a Twihard on my friends list that is like militant on the level that if someone founded a fake religion based on the worship of Stephenie Meyer, I do believe that this girl would join it.

I think it is safe to say that, yes, we can at least try to get along with them, seeing as many of my friends like the series, including my boyfriend. Twilight is just a (really poorly written) book series, and should not be taken as such serious buisness.

We shouldn't get so worked up about it. For the most part, I think it's the chord it striks in us, we see a message being taught that seems to be encouraging women to be meek followers who need a man to provide any type of success. Another factor is the sheer hype attached to this, like religious zealots, the fans seem to want to cram it down our throats, as one said we mustn't be human if we don't simply worship the perfection that is Eddy-poo..... Honestly, if it weren't everywhere I could ignore it like bad fan fiction. But with the zelots around I'm afrait it's a It's Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg subject The name is a Nipmuck Indian word it means, "You fish on your side, I fish on my side, nobody fishes in the middle."
