im making some gaia cosplay hats for my freinds for the holidays, and i was wondering if anyone else has done this or would like to give me some tips patterns? that would be super lovely ^_^
woo!
right now im making: OMG, AFK, kiki and koko hats, and panda hats.

im making them out of fleece, but im not quite sure how i should put them together, i have the just though
if i get good enough at this, i might start selling them on ebay for around 10 bucks. :3

I made an OMG
It's not perfect, it bunches a tad at the seams, but it turned out pretty well I think
When I did it I just measured my head to see how big it needed to be and then drew out a pattern.

yeah, i'm making hats for my friends too. 3nodding for the OMG, i just looked at the way the official Gaia OMG hat is made in the Gaia Shop. so i just tried to copy that. and i have a Dijiko hat that i bought at a con, so i'm making the hat compared to that size.

Since gaia only has two actual official hats I suppose that it would be ok to make the other ones thatthey haven't done yet ::shrugs::

The items found on Gaia belong to Gaia's creators and they could possibly not only ban you but maybe also sue you. Quote: VII. Asking permission is indeed a good thing, and far better than being sued.
If you plan to market them, then it could get messy, but making them as part of a cosplay, thats different. Its like copying cds or dvds. Its fine for personal use but you're not supposed to sell them.
Its worth a shot right?

But that doesn't make it right. I've seen lots of shifty things on ebay, not to mention my business has been ripped off at least twice through them as well.
