I loved Winnie the Pooh as a child!

Also the Muppets. I used to watch that when I was a kid, although I am not sure how much Danika would be interested in watching a show full of dead celebrities she has never heard of, lol XD
but I *do* suggest downloading all the Muppet Movies! As well as any Disney movies or shorts. I used to love watching one that was Mickey as Jack and the Beanstalk and the one were Mickey was The Brave Little Tailor those were only half hour ones

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_Little_Tailor

OMG I WANT To watch those right now so badddddlllllyyyyy! crying

There are the Canadian ones:
Fred Penner's Place
Under the Umbrella Tree
Mr Dressup
(they used to play in that order too!!)

Mr Dressup was the best. I was so sad when Ernie Coombs died

Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings

Do you have a VCR player Karma? If so I could always send you my old Disney VHS. I have Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Return of Jaffar, The Little Mermaid, and... wow, a bunch others (I just looked under my bed, lol)
Lemme know if that could work for you, and I'll mail them at my expense

AND if anyone can tell me the name of a show that feature puppet like fish in the sea with a salt water taffy stand, I will love you forever.

To be completely honest, though, I can't remember which shows I watched in English, and which I watched in French, and if any of those have only a French version and no English equivalent. Sorry, I just realized that now surprised

I actually made a noose (a shitty one - but a noose none-the-less), for my brother's Barney doll once ... he wasn't too happy as I recall. confused

I watched that My Little Pony movie over and over again. Also, the Strawberry Shortcake one with the little fruit babies in a garden patch (wow that sounds retarded, haha).

BARBARRRR!
Paddington Bear books/show is fun, along the same lines of bears having adventures was Rupert the bear. Oh my gosh, I used to love that show so much!

Also, the usual Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters (I watched the old one and the one that came out late 90s with uh politically correct diverse characters, lol), Shark Attack, Gargoyles, Mummies Alive (lol)...etc. But these ones are more for older kids I'd say - like 8-10. Not so much educational fun as opposed to silly fun. :3

Holy smokes, Zath, thank you! I remember watching Fred Penner's Place as a kid, and never remembered the title!

Hmm, what shows did I watch as a kid, that weren't already mentioned? More cartoons, of course, like Taz-Mania, Eek! the Cat, Animaniacs, Freakazoid, X-Men, Spider-Man. What would be good for little kids on the list? Taz, Eek, Animaniacs and Freakazoid would all be okay. What else? For what it's worth, my sisters (both around 20) were watching The Wiggles, Lazytown and The Doodlebops not all that long ago. Sid the Science Kid, and Phineas and Ferb seem like they'd be alright, too.

Omg the Wiggles are soooo huge. My mom teaches grade 3/4 split, and they play that a lot for the kiddos.

wow thanks everyone... umm i do not have a vcr but i do have a dvd player..... i haven't used a vcr since i was at my parents house..... thanks for the offer zathy.. i will just download them. maybe i can get the older versions..

does everyone know that the old Disney movies all have subliminal messages in them?

i know in the old version of the lion king when simba flops in the grass at the scene before his dead dad appears in the sky the smoke in the air that comes up spells out sex. ive seen that one myself

in beauty and the beast in the tea cup scene where they are singing and there are massive amounts of tea cups one of the cups has a d***o in it. i was told about that one... watched the movie and didn't see it but there are a lot of tea cups.

stuff like that..... rofl

omg Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers!! lolololol I used to watch that all the time during the "Disney Afternoon" cartoon session after school... they would play Duck Tales

do dee do dee
Life is like a hurricane
Here in Duck - burg
Race cars, lasers, aeroplanes
It's a duck - blur!
Might solve a mystery,
Or rewrite history!

Ducktales! (a - whooh ooh)
Every day they're out there making
Ducktales! (a - whooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good
Ducktales!

D - D - D - Danger!
(Watch behind you)
There's a stranger,
(out to find you!)
What to do?
Just grab on to some...

Ducktales! (a - whooh ooh)
Every day they're out there making
Ducktales! (a - whooh ooh)
Tales of daring do bad and good
Ducktales!

Not pony tales or cotton tales, no
Ducktales!
(a - whooh ooh)

Then Chip and Dale

Some times, some crimes
go slippin' through the cracks-
but these two- gumshoes
are pickin' up the slack.
There's no case too big,
no case too small,
when you need help, just call:

Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale
Rescue Rangers
Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale
When there's Danger-

You know it never fails,
once they're involved,
somehow whatever's wrong
gets solved.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale
Rescue Rangers
Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale
When there's Danger-

You know it never fails,
they'll take the clues,
and find
the whens, and whys, and whos.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale
Rescue Rangers
Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale
When there's Danger-

CH-CH-CH-CHIP AND DALE!

Then Tale Spin would play... but I don't remember their song lololol

And then Darkwing Duck eventually came out and played at the end (my baby brudder's personal favourite)

Daring duck of mystery,
Champion of right,
Swoops out of the shadows,
Darkwing owns the night.
Somewhere some villain schemes,
But his number's up.

(3-2-1) Darkwing Duck (When there's trouble you call DW)
Darkwing Duck (Let'sget dangerous)
Darkwing Duck (Darkwing, Darkwing Duck!)

Cloud of smoke and he appears,
Master of surprise.
Who's that cunning mind behind
That shadowy disguise?
Nobody knows for sure,
But bad guys are out of luck.

'Cause here comes (Darkwing Duck)
Look out! (When there's trouble you call DW)
Darkwing Duck (Let's get dangerous)
Darkwing Duck (Better watch out, you bad boys)
Darkwing Duck!

Then they started making Goof Troop, but I was out of the cartoons by then

I am the biggest loser alive!

Hey does anyone remember The Smoggies? Or maybe it was called The Sun Tots...

The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!

Swing your hips from side to side, come on everybody, LET'S DO THE MARIO!

lol that show was so retarded, and I watched it anyways
PostPosted: Fri Dec 11, 2009 10:37 am

I think I'm the only one on this planet who liked the Mario show but hated the Zelda cartoons in it.

The theme songs are all over Youtube, I think they even have Gummi Bears in over ten languages.

Here's an instrumental remix of some of the DuckTales game music (and the theme is the end): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8FBLFnu1t8
