I wonder what issue god would have with festivals? I think he'd hate it more along the lines of because the icky relationships in there.

That doesn't make it pagan though. Pagan is not the opposite of Christianity. In fact there is absolutely nothing pagan about the Twilight series.
It is however very anti-religious, anti-feminist, and pro-domestic violence.
Sounds pretty anti-Christian to me.
