She was put down this morning. I said good bye to her and my parents took her. My mom and I can't stop crying. Though I try not to make it obvious I am crying. Hard though.
We're waiting for my brother to get up then we're burying her in the back yard along with all our other dead pets.
I'm almost tempted to look in the box she's in right now, cuz I wanna see her again but, I remember how it affected me when I saw Kriss at the wake so I don't know if it'd be a good idea. xp

You didn't look in the box, did you?
I remember when my guinea pig died (and I know for some people guinea pigs are not equivalent to cats or dogs, but she was the only pet I ever had, and we were hella close), I had finals that day, so I couldn't just sit and cry all day. And when I got home my dad had already dug a little hole, and put her in a nice box. (I'm crying thinking about it right now - it will be three years since she died in two weeks)
Anyway. It's not easy, the whole losing a loved one.
But I think it's always better to remember all the good times, and that they're not in pain anymore, or their not suffering anymore. You miss them, and thinking about those times can make you miss them more, but it's more like celebrating the life you had together. If that makes sense.
I send you good vibes, Bree.

No I didn't look in the box. I was tempted to, but I decided against it.
I can completely understand crying for any pet you had a close relationship with. I cried when my tiny little lizard that I never even got to touch died. XP
My mom has been crying A LOT. So I've been trying to comfort her since no one else is trying. So since I've been comforting mom AND other friends depressed over other things I've not really had time to mourn for my cat and think about the good times. If I tear up I force it away.
Thanks for the vibes, Jimmy. I'll need 'em.

I'm upset that you're not getting your turn to cry. I hope you find your moment.
And always, I send them, never forget.

Aw, I'm so sorry sweetie. But at least you know for sure that she's not in pain anymore.

Yah, I'm glad she's not in pain anymore. Really, I just miss her.
I just kinda like burst into tears when I finally got into my room and I've been crying on and off for a few hours now, so I guess I had my moment.
I also went as far as Picking her fur off of my blanket and putting it in a baggie. xP

I really send my condolences, and whatnot.
I mean, I've never lost a cool pet (cat, dog) But I've had my fair share of little pets. Me and Nibbles, were real close. Same with Vanilla too...
It's really hard, I know. Just always remember that she loved you, and that there was nothing you could do.
Cats and Dogs were selectively breeded by early humans to be companions. So in reality, they were made for us. To love us. To care for us. To be our best buddies and not judge us when were an a**. And it has been confirmed that dogs and cats have the three basic emotions : Fear, Loyalty, and Love. They're currently researching what else they might have. But they emotionally peak at around what a human 6 year olds capacity.
So, really, she loved you, she was loyal to you, and don't ever forget that.
I'm sorry for you, Bree.

This reminds me when my dog died. I remember, for a while I thought. "I should have been with him more in those last days." It still makes me feel sad. Sorry for your lost.

The last morning before she had to go I started to wish I woulda stayed and pet her a bit more. But I was all half asleep and dizzy and only wanted to go back to sleep... though I didn't even get back to sleep anyway. sweatdrop
Anyway~ thanks, Stan.
