Thank you Roma for the headshot! <3 Name: Alexandra Gramme Nicknames: Aly, Alex, "Cry Baby" (call her this, and she'll hit you) Age: 17 Birthday: January 3 Sign: Capricorn Blood Type: AB Fav. Food: Pasta, cookies, her momma’s Cola pot roast, Greek gyros and pita bread Hated Food: Nuts, most Oriental and Asian food, spicy things
School: Meadowview (She could have gotten into Crystal Academy but her parents couldn’t afford it)
Hobbies:
Dance - For thirteen years of her life, she's danced ballet. Its an intricate part of her life, and she can't sit in a room with music playing without choreography playing in her head. She loves dancing, and hates people who think its 'easy' or a girly sport. It isn't. Its taken her all thirteen years of her dancing training to get as good as she is now, and she still isn't principle dancer material. She has class four days a week, with rehearsals three of those days. Dance is a real time sink for her, but she loves it.
She originally got into dance half out of her own want, and half out of her mother wanting to learn balance; she had a habit of leaving skin on almost every surface because she'd trip over her own feet (one could argue she still does). Around the age when other girls were getting into soccer, swimming and basketball, Alex fell in love with preforming. Her sole reason to continue taking class is because at the very end, she gets to preform on a stage.
She creates dances in her spare time, though they tend to be hodgepodgey to what goes well with the music. There are times when she strikes gold with her choreography and her created piece is very good.
Alex is most practiced at classical ballet, though she enjoyes lyrical dance much more. She has training in jazz, jazz-hip hop, character, and tap styles of dance, and has dabbled in modern and contemporary dance. Contemporary confuses her most of the time (it tends to be VERY out there) and classical bores her after a while (there are only so many times you can dance the Waltz of the Flowers from the Nutcracker before you can do it in your sleep).
Writing - Writing is one of the best ways for her to let loose steam and let her mind calm. She writes drabbles, one shots, and novels, none of which are actually finished yet. She got into writing after reading so much and reading a LOT of fanfiction online. She tested her fingers at it, and went through a number failed, unfinished attempts before she got to a point where she actually liked her writing. What was the kicker, though, was her fifth grade teacher who let her write about Pokemon for a magazine assignment. She fell in love with the art that was writing after this moment. The fanfiction just helped it along.
She tends to write fantasy stories, usually with the underlying theme of a dragon of some sorts in it. She's just a little obsessed with the large flying lizards.
Alex can't stand non-fiction. At all. There is absolutely not plot to follow and it bores her to death, unless its a topic that she can relate to, like dance, or something that she can ramble on for pages, like anarchy.
Video Games - If there's one thing she loves more than dance and writing, it's video games. She plays mainly RPGs, but you can get her to play Halo if she with the right people. Kingdom Hearts, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Fable; you name it, she's probably either played it, heard of it, or hasnt' gotten to play it yet.
Her current time sink is World of Warcraft. She doesn't PvP. She thinks the concept of running around scared shitless because someone can come up your backside and run you through with an axe is not the way to go. Alex mostly plays hunters, and solos a lot of her quests, or have level 80 friends follow her around and help her through dungeons and said quests.
She usually plays video games after dance and school work are finished, but there are times, especially with WoW being on her laptop, that the pull is too great, and she's playing when she should be doing math homework, and plays until 3 in the morning. Most of her console games get played on the weekends and Fridays, due to having not enough time during the rest of the week.
Gemstone: Garnet
Virtues:
Independent -- Alex Gramme is known for her crying, but also for her independence. She's not one of the girls who loves to follow everyone else. She beats to her own set of drums and takes pride in being able to do things herself, without others help. Projects, studying, coping with her self doubt, you name it, she's dealt with it on her own. She scares most boys away with her independence, wanting someone who will keep up with her quick thinking and smarts while also respecting her space, and the fact her drums are really basses and strum to their own down beat. Given this, she usually has a unique out look on the situation, and on the world around her. Her independence means she doesn't rely on others (even when she really should) and is rather self-sufficient.
She does, however, follow her elders, like her parents and teachers. She's not a rebellious kid; rather she just isn't a sheep being herded by a sheppard through the cliques and cliche's of high school. Get in her group projects though, and her independence gets her in arguments and trouble.
In ballet and dance, she follows others because its really hard to dance a seven person dance number by herself. She and her dance mats have a close bond and she respects them.
Quick Thinking -- Alex is smart. She knows it too, but doesn’t rub it in anyone’s face. She has a very logical mind, and usually can get most anything without coaxing. There are, of course, times when she doesn’t, and she needs a bit of help. For the most part, she’s quite intelligent and sharp witted, sometimes figuring out things faster than most people. She'll put two and two together, and come out with a conclusion faster than others will, and she'll be relatively confident about being right about that conclusion. This more has to do with school subjects, than every day to day life. Math, chemistry, physics, anything that has math involved, and she's really good at it. Literature? History? That's another thing.
Give her logic problems and she'll figure them out pretty quickly. Except sukudo. It takes her FOREVER to figure those number puzzles out. Why? Simply because she gets a head of herself and has to keep going back eight steps to figure out if the 1 goes in the left box or the right one.
Master of Time Management: All those years of dancing have taught Alex the valuable skill of time management. A project is due in two weeks, and she has two major, whole cast rehearse during the weekend in the middle? She can work around it. Have a English literature test the day before the projects do? She'll have the project done three days before the TEST is, and still have time to go to all her dance classes and rehearsals.
This skill fails when unexpected projects, test, or rehearsals, or just when she's sick, crop up. Alex is fairly good at managing this and fitting them in, but there have been times when homework, or test studying has fallen through the cracks.
Flaws:
Control Freak -- Alex has to be the leader of the group. Things have to be in her control or panic and paranoia sets it. This comes out of her independent nature. Alex does things her way, so when other want to do it another, she gets bitchy and starts smoldering. She'll try to find a way to get herself to be leader, or for the group to take her ideas. If she is going to be heard, she’s rather have everyone do it her way, or at least listen to how she’s gonna lead the group. She may say she’s rather not have the responsibility of being leader, but she can’t handle not being in control. If she tries, and tries to be in control of a situation but can't, and/or recognizes that another person is the leader (spoken or not) of the group, Alex will concede to them. As much as she loves control, she will avoid confrontation like the plague, for it just ends up showing how little control she has over her emotions and reactions in a situation.
Sometimes her intense want to control everything gets between her and her friends, and she walks over them just to get her way. She tends to forget about her friends, or anyone else's, feelings when she wants things her way, and only remembers about them when its pointed out to her. In a lot of ways, she walks over them, and only remembers about them after the fact, when the damage has been done.
It isn't that she wants to walk all over them, as she doesn't, but she just seems to forget that they have feelings when she gets 'tunnel vision' on getting something done. Alex does this entirely unintentionally, and usually subconsciously. If something is due, or has to be done, she'll throw her entire focus on it, no matter who gets thrown to the wayside because of it.
When she's made aware of this, guilty surges through her, and she apologizes right way.
Cry Baby -- Alex almost always reactions in the same core way: crying. This has earned her the nickname, "Cry Baby" over the years. And, as the years gone by, she's added a few other actions to her one reaction. If she's frustrated she'll kick things, and if it gets to bad (or she's in a panic attack) she'll scream. If she's angry, she drops the f-word more than she normally would, she'll kick things into oblivion, and if you get her angry enough, she's physically attack you out of frustration and wanting you to shut the hell up. All while crying her eyes out, by the way.
She tends to gush at her friends, and then apologize after wards for bringing them down, or scaring them.
Because of all this, she gets picked last a lot, because she's seen as a liability. No one wants the cry baby on their team, cause she'll just get in the way. She's slowly trying to change this view people have of her, but until she goes to college or gets away from all the people who know her its a long time coming.
Self Doubt -- Alex, when faced with a problem or challenge much harder than she's used to, begins to believe she can't do it when things get hard. She'll start off strong, but then as she gets farther along, and nothing seems to be working, she slowly looses confidence until she all but gives up. She also hesitates to a great extent when she doesn't think she can do it. Its not that she's a coward, because she isn't, its that she locks up when she believes she can't do what she's being asked off. Since she knows she's so smart, she knows she can what she's being asked of. When she can't, it makes her feel like she's a failure to whomever asked her to do something for them
She doesn't like being seen as a failure, or a cry baby and does her best to do her best. Just for her, her best is something not even a genius could achieve. This particularly ties into her control freak flaw as she believes her way would work the first time. When it doesn't, Alex second guesses everything the group is doing, whether she's thought up it or not, and stops being like a leader.
Senshi battle wise, this COMPLETELY opens herself up for attack. She freezes, and hesitates just long enough to put herself, and/or someone in danger. When she realizes someone is in danger, she'll get caught up in the fact she let them get hurt in the first place, and her self doubt will freeze her up more. She needs a rude hit upside the head, or something of the like to get her out of her rut.
Sailor Terpsichore has more self-confidence than Alex. She finds her senshi disguise to be a great way to hide from the rest of the world who knows her as "Cry Baby". The self-doubt runs through Terpsichore as well, but the power of the star seed seems to empower her with more courage... most of the time.
Terpsichore/Alex will get picked last for things, as almost all of Meadowview will know Alex's... reputation for crying and being a liability. She'll try to be strong in her senshi encounters, but is inevitable her reputation will show through.
Physical Description: Hair - Dark purple, with black ends, usually pulled up in either a ponytail or messy bun, with loose bangs that hang over one of her eyes Eyes - Green blue, small Face - Ovalish shaped face, thin looking, small nose, average sized ears, with triforce earrings Body - Whip thin, dancer toned (not muscular, but it is there) Fashion - At home - Pants, pants, pants! Alex will lounge around her house in anything, so long as it includes pants. Alex likes graphic tees, character tees, even comic book tees. Pretty much, if you can dress her up like a boy, then she's a happy girl. At ballet class - Black leotard, pink tights, and black dance shorts make up her dance clothes. With friends - She'll usually wear pants, even in the summer, with a t-shirt and her trusty, but falling apart, skater shoes. She doesn't skate, but loves those shoes regardless. At school - While she loves the school uniform, she begrudgingly only wears the skirt because she couldn't get her mom to by her the guy shorts. She does wear shorts on underneath it, however.
It isn't that she doesn't like skirts, its that she can't sit in them well. Even with ballet, at least there was something covering underneath the skirts, instead of just her underwear. Alex doesn't have a lot in the bust either, so she can't pull off busty or low cut shirts. She'd rather look like a guy than a girl who is trying too hard to be sexy.

Senshi: Sailor Terpsichore (Terpsi for short), Senshi of Dance Challenge: "I'll dance you into oblivion!"
Sailor Terpsichore is a Attack-Senshi: She does light DPS, and stat buffs, but primarily uses her dance training to (albeit weakly) kick and hit the enemy. She's kinda like a rogue/holy paladin, with much more emphasis on the rogue side. Basic attacks include kicks and the odd punch. She is light on her feet and agile, but rather clumsy.
(sorry for the WoW speak xD Seems like the easiest way to explain it)
Attack #1: Name - Terpsichore's Graceful Steps! What it does - [Grants the movement and grace of a dancer to herself or one target.] The recipient of the ability is able to dodge attacks better and more cleanly is able to attack (their attacks has more accuracy). Can be used more than one, up to three times, with diminishing results each time after the first use. Lasts for 20 secs.
Attack #1.b: Name - Terpsichore's Graceful Attack! What it does - [Boosts the attack power of the recipients attacks.] Powered up version of attack 1. When used on an ally, the power up lasts for 40 secs. When used on Terpsichore specifically, the boost is twice as much, but for half the time. The ability can be used up to twice on either herself or an ally.
Attack #2: Name - Terpsichore's Graceful Dance! What it does - [Attack using her legs in kicks with up to three hits.] She attacks in a manor of choreographed steps, that result in kicking the enemy up to three (3) times. That attack itself can be used up to three (3) times in succession, with each subsequent set of attacks being cut in power by half. Lasts for (a total) 1:30 min or nine (9) hits, which ever comes first. A last ditch "fourth" set can be attempted, at the cost of almost all her energy/.
Fuku Colour: Black, white, red, ballet pink, beige, or really any color I suppose. ^^;; not good with these things.
Fuku: Natsu, please take any and all artist liberties with her. ^^ These are more guidelines than anything else.
Sailor Senshi Collar - Bow - Thinner than average Bodice - Tight, full torso-ed, with a seam under her small bust, and a few going down. Sleeves - Non-existant Brooch - Has a shoe on it Bottoms - See-through skirt, with shorts on underneath Tiara - Just the standard one's fine. Choker - Same as above Shoes - Like ballroom dancing shoes (heels) but with ribbons tied around her ankles and going up her calfs. (I would like this tho.) Gloves - Accessories - Silver studs.

Terpsichore is a classical Greek goddess and Muse of dance and chorus. 81 Terpsichore is an asteroid.
81 Terpsichore From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
81 Terpsichore (pronounced /tərpˈsɪkəriː/ tərp-SIK-ə-ree) is a large and very dark main belt asteroid. It has most likely a very primitive carbonaceous composition. It was found by the prolific comet discoverer Ernst Tempel on September 30, 1864. It is named after Terpsichore, the Muse of dance in Greek mythology.
Terpsichore From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Greek mythology, Terpsichore (pronounced /tərpˈsɪkəri/) (Τερψιχόρη) "delight of dancing" was one of the nine Muses, ruling over dance and the dramatic chorus. She lends her name to the word "terpsichorean" which means "of or relating to dance". She is usually depicted sitting down, holding a lyre, accompanying the dancers' choirs with her music. She is sometimes said to be the mother of the Sirens by Achelous. Her name comes from the Greek words τέρπω ("delight") and χoρός ("dance").
Dance: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
'Dance (from French danser, perhaps from Frankish) is an art form that generally refers to movement of the body, usually rhythmic and to music,[1] used as a form of expression, social interaction or presented in a spiritual or performance setting.
Dance may also be regarded as a form of nonverbal communication between humans, and is also performed by other animals (bee dance, patterns of behaviour such as a mating dance). Gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming are sports that incorporate dance, while martial arts kata are often compared to dances. Motion in ordinarily inanimate objects may also be described as dances (the leaves danced in the wind).
Definitions of what constitutes dance are dependent on social, cultural, aesthetic, artistic and moral constraints and range from functional movement (such as folk dance) to virtuoso techniques such as ballet. Dance can be participatory, social or performed for an audience. It can also be ceremonial, competitive or erotic. Dance movements may be without significance in themselves, such as in ballet or European folk dance, or have a gestural vocabulary/symbolic system as in many Asian dances. Dance can embody or express ideas, emotions or tell a story.
Dancing has evolved many styles. Breakdancing and Krumping are related to the hip hop culture. African dance is interpretive. Ballet, Ballroom, Waltz, and Tango are classical styles of dance while Square and the Electric Slide are forms of step dances.
Every dance, no matter what style, has something in common. It not only involves flexibility and body movement, but also physics. If the proper physics is not taken into consideration, injuries may occur.
Choreography is the art of creating dances. The person who creates (i.e., choreographs) a dance is known as the choreographer.'
Dance is an intricate part of Alex's life.

Family: Mother: Teresa Gramme - A loving woman who Alex inherited most of her features from. Alex and her mother are very close, and share a more pleasant relationship than most other mother/daughter pairings. Father: James Gramme - A workaholic man who has never really been around. He leaves before Alex is awake, and comes home around the time she's supposed to be in bed. Even when he is home, he's either bitching and moaning about work, or working, or sleeping. Cat: Max "Lazy a**" Gramme - The family cat. The Grammes got him when Alex was thirteen as her pet. He has since changed owners to Teresa. He's one of the laziest cats, the loudest, and the scaridest known to man. He used to be terrified of Alex, but he is slowly warming up to her; it seems even he can sense she's leaving for college soon.

Old Virtue Empathy:
Empathy -- Alex is an observer of most things, and has acquired over the years a knack for knowing when someone is upset or not themselves. She cares deeply for her friends, and when they aren’t themselves, she worries about them. That being said, she’s not the type of gal too barge into your personal issues. If you don’t come to her about it, she usually just leaves you alone until you are ready to talk, unless its about something really important, like a life or death situation.
That being said, she can't tell right away. Alex has to get to know the person first, and be friends with them for a few months before she'll be certain she knows what's going on. Its more that she's just very observant of others than that she can tell 100% of the time what's going on; if you're really good with hiding your emotions, she will have to know you for years before she'll be able to tell what you are feeling.

I did note some stuff right off the bat, and I'm gonna be kind of critical, since I REALLY want you to get your girl here soooooo~ o 3o;; <3
Fuku ::
For the first stage, a while back staff said bodices needed to be white for the first stage. I think it'll be alright if there's a pattern on it, but right now I assume it's a black base with white and red flowers on it. You can keep it as is since... yeah, Virgo didn't and I haven't heard anything new about if the rule is still in play or not. Juuuust a lil' thing to note, in case they do want you to change it for the first stage o 3o;;
What did you mean by "ballet disk" for her broach? For things like that that might not be common knowledge, might wanna link to images =x;;
Hobbies ::
How does dancing for so long enable her to break someone's kneecaps? That seems very random to me, so if you intend to keep that little aspect, I'd really elaborate on that, perhaps go into a little of how demanding dancing is. You say she hates when people think it's easy... so give us an idea of why it's not! ;D <3 Also, elaborate a bit on her history with it? How did she get into it? What made her interested? Why didn't she lose interest in it and drop out like so many other kids tend to when they're younger?
Me being picky but... elaborate on Writing a bit? How long has she been doing it? What got her into it? What genera does she love to write? What genera does she hate? And whyyyyyyy's~
Again picky - does playing video games interfere with her practicing for dancing? I've no experience in it, but if she values gaming so much, I'm just wondering if that would impact her dedication to her dancing or something =o ESPECIALLY, World of Warcraft. I play that myself, so I KNOW how time consuming it is, and I'm just not sure if it'd be smart for a dancer to spend so much time on a video game instead of staying fit, practicing routines, etc. Maaaaybe it's just me, but yeah. Seems a little too much, unless she's running around a lot to make up for the time spent gaming =x
Virtues ::
Empathy ~ It sounds from your wording, that right off the bat, first meeting the person, she can observe that the individual isn't acting like their usual self. Maybe put in how long it'd take her to know the person before she can start doing this, and how long it would take for her to be reaaaaally accurate? It might be a bit much to say a character can know 100% of the time someone else is out of it, unless that other character is noted to wear their moods/problems on their sleeves or something, but that's not to say she can't be pretty damn accurate after knowing someone for a while.
Quick Thinking ~ She can get almost anything... wut? Anything... like money? Clothes? Algebra problems? English literature? Languages? You're reaaaaaally vague with this. What exactly is she smart at? Just general logic is one thing... but you have it like it should be one specific topic.
Already, it looks like she's gonna be more of a... not so good girl with more flaws than virtues 8<;;; Maybe figure out one more to add in? 8'D -that might be just me though, haha -shot-
Flaws ::
Control Freak ~ Right off the bat, I'm seeing a problem with one of her hobbies and this. WoW. Lots of people like being the leader on here, especially in PvP, raids, instances, etc. And most quickie groups end up having a few idiots who WILL NOT listen to someone ordering them around. How does she respond to this?
Plus it's... kind of weird for her to first be all freaking out over not being in control... then right when she's not, she just gives up? That's not a control freak to me. That seems like a big contradiction there, especially then the bit after that. So she's a b***h to her friends sometimes due to her need to control... but then'll give it up really easy when someone else is in charge? Wut? x.X How would she respond if one of her friends told her to knock it off, or took that control away from her? I feel like you have a good idea here for what you want... you just need to fix a few blips xwx;; <3
ESPECIALLY connecting back to Empathy - you say she cares a lot about her friends... so why would she be so willing to walk all over them then? Does she think she's doing what's necessary to protect them? Does she not realize what she's doing is wrong? Then again, how would she respond if a friend DID confront her and tell her she was being nasty to them in her controling ways? D:
Overly Sensitive ~ Something seems off about this, though I'm not exactly sure what. For right now though - what does she do when she's sad? Or angry? Does she attack someone? Does she run and hide? How does this play into working with other Senshi? Seems like she'd be the type to get picked last for a team once other characters realize she could cost them in a fight D:
Self Doubt ~ This sounds like it'll make the character very hard to interact with and Rp with at times. Maybe do something more like "Perfectionist," and go into how her need to control everything steams from her need for everything to be perfect or she goes into an attack? Also, if you do that, make that kind of notation in Control Freak as well.
Honestly though, I really feel like that might make it really difficult for this character to be a fighter/team player. I like the CONCEPT of the character, but maybe lessen this a little bit? I donno, it just sounds like someone who'd be really hard to deal with since once she gets into her attack, no one can do anything to help her out of it. And what if it happened in a fight? Yes a weakness is a weakness for a reason, but I almost feel like that's too much.
Obviously, that's all just my own opinions. If you don't feel changing something is for the better, that's you're call x'D;; -snuggles- Hope I wasn't horrible and hope it helps at least somewhat @.@;;;;; <3

Fukus:
- Yeah I'm not the best at designing it... I've found where it says only white bodices, I just didn't edit it in.
- Oh! I meant the color! "Ballet pink" is a color... ^^;; hehe there goes my really bad explination skills.
Hobbies:
I've been meaning to get into them more. I've been more worried with making sure her virtues and flaws are alright, than with fixing that up.
Oh and trust me, when you have really powerful legs like I do, you can break almost anything at a joint if you get it at the right angle.
Virtues: - Empathy: Good point. The basis is that with her friends she can tell if they're frazzled, angry, or depressed. She usually has to be friends with them first, and it takes being friends for a few months or more for her to really understand them. She's not perfect with it, just very observant.
- Quick Thinking: Oh, hehe. ^^;; Right, it mostly deals with school subjects: she's smart with math, science and most other calculation required things. Lit? Not so much. Logic in general she's good with as well, but its more like she can figure stuff out like who stole her pencil out of three friends, and that kinda stuff. (which is in of itself vague. lol xD; )
- And yes, she is a little 'bad' girl tipped atm.
Flaws: - Control Freak: Yesh, she has issues with wow, though she doesn't do PvP much. She mainly runs around soloing s**t. xD -will note this- As for the submission, its kinda hard to explain, even just in general. She usually gets to a point where she can't get her points across in a group and gets so frustrated with that she just lets someone else handle it since it seems no one will listen to her.
If a friend told her to "knock it off" she'd end up asking why, and if it turned out that she was in fact hurting her friends, she'd stop.
She's not willing to walk over them, she just does it because she forgets about them. "Tunnel vision" if you will. She wants to get something done, and something done on her time frame, and tends to forget about everyone else until that one thing is done. She usually NEVER notices that she's doing this until someone confronts her about. Then she becomes guilty, and her lovely little voice in her head gets more power.
- Overly Sensitive: For sad: she looks like a dark cloud has settled over her head, or just flat out cries. If she's frustrated, she'll cry, and kick things. If she's mad, she yells, bitches, screams on occasion, and cries. And she would be the person picked last because she's a cry baby a lot of the time. It comes from her not being in control of what's going, and just getting frustrated because it's not going how she wants it to.
So maybe this should be changed to "cry baby" instead?
- Self Doubt: I can see why you'd think her to be hard to interact with. It comes off like her self doubt gets in the way most of the time, and in her own mind, it does. In her own mind, her self doubt is crippling and she can't do anything right. But Alex has learned to hide this very well. If you looked at her interacting with her friends, you wouldn't know she has a confidence problem.
If she does suffer an attack, she becomes a sitting duck yes, but she can be helped out it. If it happened in a fight, I'd suspect she'd get hurt pretty bad and come to realize she /can't/ let that happen, because her friends are in danger, and that sort of thing.
Perfectionist doesn't fully explain it, tho. She's NOT a perfectionist. She doesn't take 10 hours on a project that would take at most 2. She takes the 2 hours, if that. Its more like the fact that she doesn't put forth as much effort as she really should gets lost on her, so when things don't come back how she thought they would, especially math tests, she's reminded that she can't do things right.
I thank you again for the crit. It was very helpful, Kailey. ^^

Storage of ideas (thank you guys again!!): endejester Deflect attacks by dancing - like a whirling dervish she spins and deflects the attacks? Orr.... She dances and makes a target unable to attack for... 30 seconds because they can't help but watch her. This works -amazingly- as a support senshi which is -great- for team work biggrin Game Rated - Lemon Makette - I had an idea for a future-stage ability - dancing with a partner. It requires touching the other character sometime in the dance, and either it could be a healing ability, or an ability in which damage/healing taken affects the character who was dancing with them as well as them? Who knows. LP Oh and I had another 'dance' type suggestion! HULA! (Those are pretty awesome) (XD)
