I recently bought a copy of one of Jims poetry books, Wilderness: The Lost Writings of Jim Morrison. Has anyone else read/ own any of these poetry collections? If so whats your favorite poem? Mine is The Celebration of The Lizard.

Actually, I haven't even bothered to get a hold of any of his books. I would like to some day. I'm not a whole lot into poetry, but sometimes I enjoy reading it. =]

Yuppers ^_^

I looked for some of Jim's poetry book stuff and some books that have been written about him, but didn't find them around anywhere in the book store in the mall. They might've had them at Hastings though since they have a bigger selection of books. At B. Dalton, they had this tiny section of poetry and they had this small shelf of rock n' roll biographies/autobiographies. Ridiculous! They need more! mad

Nope, don't have one of those here =[ I'll have to look around town or just go on Ebay or Amazon.

Yup. Sometimes they have what you're looking for and sometimes they don't. Amazon usually had lots of books though so I'm sure I could find it on there or they probably have it in Hastings. They have so many books. I hate having to find them though. So many sections and I can't always find what I'm looking for.

At least there's search engines on the net lol =P

Maybe I'll just look at the public library website here and see if I can request any of them. It's easier that way so I don't have to spend money.

I've read both The American Night and The Wilderness. But it's been quite a while so I can't recall the title of my favorite. I like where he recited lyrics from the song "The Wasp".
