Since this place is looking pretty dead I figured I'd try to liven it up.
First off this is a place to share the following:
1. How to avoid Fangirl attacks 2. How to provoke Fangirl attacks a. This stuff should ONLY be used when nessecary!!!!!! We don't go around flaming anyone. TOS and that stuff. 3. What to do if you get verbally attacked by a Fangirl 4. What to do if you get physically assaulted by a Fangirl.
Hammer away and give me your thoughts.

First off let us start by teaching everyone how to identify a fangirl:
1. They will seem normal at first but show clear obsession for their muse when it is presented to them. 2. They can normally be seen flocking around their muse, or talking mindlessly about it.

If they're not blatantly advertising their fangirlishness/fanboyishness, I find that the crazy ones are the ones who have belligerent responses to anything bending their idealized vision of a fandom.
It can be anything from "s/he would NEVER have sex with that person" to "s/he would murder you, not date you."

*Nods in agreement* I've also noticed that Fangirls/boys tend to want to immediately bring up their muse randomly in conversations.
i.e. A group of people talking about books. The Fantard will normally interject by saying something like this, "Oh, Twilight is a great book, blah, blah, blah." Thus making a normal conversation into potential cannon fodder.

Alight then, now that I think we have successfully identified the average Fangirl/boy we can now go on to how to avoid being attacked.

Okay, first off, avoiding the situation all together if at all possible is the most desireable situation. By this I mean, if you hear a bunch of fantards jabbering about their little muse, just try to stay out of it.

If you have to engage in the conversation with the fantard try to avoid the subject or try changing the subject as subtly as possible.

Now, if you feel as if the fantard will turn violent during a conversation about their muse, even after you have tried to change the subject; try to point out things you like about that person's muse(if possible) I.E. Kishimoto(the creator of Naruto) was a good artist, he had a good way of creating character depth. This creates a bit of caution and helps to prevent any arguments from starting. You also don't have to act like a psychotic fantard yourself.

Also, don't engage them in arguments. Much like you don't want to look an angry gorilla in the eyes, you don't want to open confrontation to a fantard.
