Everyone else is having an awesome day. I'm stuck in the hospital with a kidney infection and get to completely miss Thanksgiving. >:[

It's not a disease, it's an infection. D: It sounds way less dirty.
I'm probably not getting out until Saturday morning but at least Jesse's been staying the night with me like a good boyfriend/baby daddy. After I was in the ER and they figured out what was wrong with me, they moved me to the maternity ward so I have a huge room by myself and my own bathroom. O: Plus they made sure I got plenty of turkey and other typical Thanksgiving goodies. So all in all it hasn't been a complete hell. Just loads of pain in my kidney, back and head. xD

xD I had e-coli.
The doctor was trying to send me home this morning when they didn't even have the results yet on my urine culture which I thought was stupid so I told her I wanted to stay another day until they knew for sure what antibiotic was going to work for me. I don't have the money to just buy a bunch of different antibiotics.
About an hour ago the nurse came in to tell me what was wrong and was like "it's a good thing you decided to stay another day". Yeah, good thing I didn't listen to the doctor. And then she was laughing about how Jesse is always sleeping and I'm always awake.

Holy crap you had e-coli?
Oh wait I'm thinking about E-Boli or whatever, the one that kills in 10 hrs, flat. Oh... e-coli...
You know there are over 100 000 e-coli's in you're intestine, living in symbiosis and actually helping you.
You just caught an e-coli gone rogue.

LOL It's pretty sad how often doctors can still make silly little mistakes even though they're supposed to be the professionals.
Good thing you did stay. ^^

I told Jesse I got it from him since people usually get it from fruits and veggies from Mexico.

lol well I'm glad it wasn't something too serious.
You'd think doctors would take a bit more precaution for someone who's concerned about the health and well being of TWO people, one being virtually defenceless against infection. Gah...dumb doctors.

I'm home now with a bottle of antibiotics and Vicodin. Should be fun. And Jesse bought me my favourite dinner. He's such a doll.

Oh nooo! Vicodin!
Be sure NOT to go cold turkey on that! That stuff is pretty addictive.
