It's that time of the month again kiddies!
This month, you get a choice of themes to choose from 8D
(mainly cuz I have no idea how to dress all thanksgiving-y. pardon my asianness. xD; )
So the choices are: Autumn/Fall colors/shades or first pilgrim thanksgiving!
Also for a discussion. I'll try to make this not TL;DR.
How do you think the recent economic recession has affected this year's thanksgiving festivities and/or black friday. o:

I have no idea what my avi is now. LOL
biggrin DD But ummm... perhaps due to the fact that our economy is in a type of depression, the boost in sales makes people want to buy more things. I mean... D: The flat screens are getting soooo cheap. I remember like 3 years ago they were thousands of dollars and now they're just a few hundred. ; A ; Yet I'm so poor that's still out of my reach, but at least the stores are trying to stay competitive with one another and grab the attention of the consumer. Gah... the shopping list for Thanksgiving was horrible (as always).
o x o maybe I'm like... a festivity spirit, or thanksgiving snow spirit... or something... XD I dunno. I put orange in it. lol

I've still heard next to nothing for Thanksgiving on TV, although I don't really watch much other than USA, TNT, and A&E anyway. >> I don't do the shopping either, so I don't know about sales, but I hate shopping anyway, so I suppose that doesn't really matter, hahah? We'll be going over to my aunt and uncle's house for lunch and maybe dinner later today if there's anything left and Betty hasn't wanted to leave before then. I should have probably made my goop, but I thought about it too late and Betty didn't think about it either. x: We kept forgetting that today's Thanksgiving anyway. ~w~;;

I have yet to change lol but I will.
I know with how the economy is, it still hasn't slowed my mother down with black friday shopping. She also still thinks she has to get $200 of gifts for everyone for X-mas when we'd be happy with just a $20 gift. sweatdrop
edit: I'm going to my folks for thanksgiving, and I love hot apple cider, so I went with this. It looks like the outfit I might be wearing too, so yay ^.^
