What we've been saying all along! But now we have an expert type!
Meyers would claim Bella's not anti-feminist. But if she didn't it would look bad.
Now if Meyers wanted to denounce her series and fictional, why not take out the Cullenists? Creepy people...

I love how she doesn't take any credit for her mistakes.
And I'm sure fans will just find some other silly excuse to not listen. Something like the professor is a nut, doesn't know what she's talking about, and obviously hasn't read it. Because everyone who hates Twilight hasn't read it and if we did, we'd all love it like them. Since it's such an awesome book about love and loyalty.
It's one thing to love something. Quite another to just ignore everything negative about it. Open your eyes, people.
Clicked a related link and found someone saying the movie isn't sexiest.
"The film is about a love affair. There is nothing sexist about a teenage girl falling head over heels for a vampire. There is nothing sexist about the teenager being quiet and withdrawn – she has just been wrenched from her life with her mother to a new environment with her father, after all. There is nothing sexist about depicting a broken adolescent heart. And there is nothing sexist about Bella choosing to get back together with Edward after he leaves her stranded with an inadequate excuse. Both characters are boring: it’s not a matter of gender, it’s a weak script. Is Romeo & Juliet sexist? Is Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice? Oh, please."
But those other two were written in completely different times as Twilight. You can't really call them sexiest since it was the norm when they were written. Besides, at least Darcy and Lizzy's romance had time to grow. They didn't jump into each other's arms the minute they saw each other. She didn't mope. She was a much stronger character in a time where women are minorities than Bella in her more gender equal world. How amusing.

Meyer's probably a worse idiot than Ann Coulter. Both get away with publishing books and running off their mouths without research, providing they have a dumb enough clientele to scream in their names.
