We're going to pretend that you all have children and are all 20 and older for the sake of my stupid online challenge and change in society course. I have to do a survey, I need 3 more people to answer these questions:
What is your current age in years? _____ How many children do you currently have? ______ At what age did you have your first child? _______ At what age did you plan to start your family? _____ How many children do you plan to have? _______ If money or time were not issues, how many children would you like to have?
If you have to, make it up...but I need answers! D=

I'll fill this out for my mother...
Mom- What is your current age in years? 49 years How many children do you currently have? Two At what age did you have your first child? Thirty At what age did you plan to start your family? Twenty nine How many children do you plan to have? Two If money or time were not issues, how many children would you like to have? Two.
I can fake one if you want... But. Eh. There's that. And it's actually real.

oh thanks guys =3
Now I feel bad though...cause I neglected to mention that the person being surveyed is supposed to be between 20 and 35 XP sorries. Tis' why I'm having issues with this cause I don't know a lot of parents in that age range (sad, but most people I know with kids are either under 20 or over 35...wth?) Sorry jimmy...your effort was very well appreciated though!

Damn. Alright. I'll try again.
A couple of my friends had some kids... So. I'll start there.
(People I met in high school... Let's call the first one Ashley, and the second one Melanie. )
What is your current age in years? 20 How many children do you currently have? 1 At what age did you have your first child? 18 At what age did you plan to start your family? Mid-twenties to never. How many children do you plan to have? No plans. If money or time were not issues, how many children would you like to have? No plans.
What is your current age in years? 20 How many children do you currently have? 0, 1 in the works At what age did you have your first child? 20 At what age did you plan to start your family? 19-20 How many children do you plan to have? Three. If money or time were not issues, how many children would you like to have? Three to five.
What is your current age in years? 29 How many children do you currently have? 1 At what age did you have your first child? Never. At what age did you plan to start your family? Never. How many children do you plan to have? None right now. If money or time were not issues, how many children would you like to have? Just the one.
What is your current age in years? 24 How many children do you currently have? 1 At what age did you have your first child? 22 At what age did you plan to start your family? 22 How many children do you plan to have? No plans right now. If money or time were not issues, how many children would you like to have? Just the one.
... Strangely, I could continue. I have quite a few friends with children now that I think about it...
For awhile there (as in when Georgette and I were hanging out), Georgette was bitching to me about how I didn't have a nice selection of friends because they're mostly homosexual or questioning or something like that. Which is a lie, apparently, because I know quite a few pregnant individuals.

ohhhh thank you guys! =D
ps Brad...awesome gag. For a second...I though you might have actually surveyed someone and those were the answers they gave. I was gonna track 'er dooown. Abortion bugs me...but only when the person disregards what a hard decision it should be. Like I mean...this chick that I knew...stopped me and Nikki downtown one time...and was like "yaaa there's a bun in the oven...but it's ok, cause I'm just gonna get an abortion next week blaugh " like it was nothing. nothing.

I dislike people like that. The ones that just take the easy way out. My friend had an abortion but that's because she already had two kids, could barely support them and was only 22 at the time.

I don't know. I think I'm all for pro-choice, honestly.
My aunt had been dating this manic depressive guy, who sometimes took advantage of her - long story, but pretend you're all updated to the part where he's like leering over the bed in the middle of the night. He already had a kid, and my aunt was getting out of a relationship that had seemed good to everyone (except for my mom) because the guy, Don, was like this... fraudulent liar, where he had created this huge false life, etc etc.
Anyway. Suffice it to say she was coming out of a bad relationship. She's on the pill, and because he's a creep guy who sometimes takes advantage of her, he's not protective when he's in his manic states. She gets pregnant.
Now. At the time, my aunt is about twenty seven. Twenty eight. Because of Don she's kind of in a bad credit zone (he had stolen parts of her financial identity). She's living with her best friend who has some psychosis issues. She's not as close with her own family as she is with her friend Caroline's family. She works a dead end job. And the man who has gotten her pregnant is not exactly sane, stable or parent material.
Sure, my aunt could have gone off and raised the kid herself, but financially, she couldn't do that. Her lifestyle didn't support a kid, not even for nine months of pregnancy and then adoption, and changing it would be even more of an emotional and physical upheaval for her and the little kid she might bring into the world.
So she got the abortion.
She doesn't talk about it a whole lot, no. But she doesn't regret her decision, either. It wasn't the easiest decision for her, it's probably just as painful to think about as any other part of her past, and I think for the majority of people abortion isn't an easy option.

I'm definitely pro-choice. If I had gotten pregnant from my rape, there's no way I could have kept the baby. But the people who are stupid and just have unprotected sex and turn to abortion as a means of protection are pathetic. My ex knew this girl who would cheat on her boyfriend and when she would get pregnant, she would have sex with her boyfriend and then say the baby was his but that she wanted an abortion. People like her need to be hit with a bus.
