Yes? No? Either way yer getting it. XD
I'll start with bad news so this can end on a happy-ish note.
My cat has been really sick, mom won't take her to vet to get blood work and x-rays cuz she's scared they'll say we have to put her down. I continue to tell her it's stupid to not go cuz she's just getting worse and the longer we wait then that WILL happen. But she no listen. Plus it's hard to take her when she's at work all day and everything. BUT my dad gets a lot of days off cuz he's a lazy a**.
But, he doesn't want to ever do anything that's actually important and needed to be done, so he's pretty much f'king useless. So my cats probably going to die. And I'm going to be pissed at my parents forever. I've been crying every night over it. Can't ******** sleep over it, but oh no, she won't just... use the money to save my ******** cat.
Sorry now I'm getting angry cuz she just called from work and I tried to talk to her about it again but she just wants to let the cat suffer and die here.
anyway.. happy news..happy... news.. it doesn't really seem all that happy to me while my cats dying but... I went to the orthodontist today and the guy said I don't have to wear my headgear anymore.
Those are the updates. That's it.

I'm super sorry about your cat, Bree. I don't know what else to say.
Maybe your mom will come around.
But I guess just try to make your cat as comfortable as possible. While getting medical help is probably the best route of action, have you PetMD'd it? Maybe there's something minor you can do.
Or maybe having some sort of proof of something more serious happening with your cat will be revealed, and then your mom will come around?

My mom has petMD'd it and I've asked forums and stuff.
My mom got only serious problems off the petMD and thinks nothing can be done. But from what people tell me it could really be ANYTHING.
and something good might be happening. Because Semok offered to send me some money for the x-rays and blood work... so once I get that.. I can then tell my mom I've got money to do it, and we can make an appointment. Then my brother already said he could drive me to the vet and all...
So hopefully it'll all work out and hooopefully if it does we'll have some good news....
I just tried to make her eat. and she ate a little bit, though most of it ended up on my blanket... I'm waiting now to see if it makes her stomach upset like the other times.

I know how you feel with the whole cat thing. My dog is 15 years old and has really bad arthritis and cataracts. He seriously can't survive a day without painkillers because his arthritis. If he doesn't take it, he can't get up. He just lies down all day. And if he starts running, he cries from the pain. My mom won't put him down because she says he still has some life in him but it makes me sad because he's lived a very long life for a dog his size.
And yay for no more headgear! I've never been to a dentist or orthodontist so I don't know all that goes on there. D:

Honestly I'm not sure I'd be able to put my cat down if I had to. Even if she were suffering. x.x I wish animals could speak like.. .all languages, so you can just ask it what it wants to do. emo
and.. the orthodontist. It's actually not too bad. The people are nice. Just, if you've got bad teeth like me I guess then you'd need a headgear and other crazy things that they've done to my mouth. It's all bearable though. Just an inconvenience.

You have to think of it this way: would you rather have your cat and have it suffering or not have it and it not be in pain anymore? But that's only if the vet ever says it needs to be put down. It's hard but you have to put the cat before yourself.
I don't have the best teeth. They're pretty straight but I have one that's really crooked. I fell when I was little and busted my mouth and had to get 12 stitches. D: And they could use some whitening. So it was either the braces or glasses when I was growing up and since I have horrible eyesight...

It's not really me I'm thinking about, it's me wondering if it's what she wants. Like, I think I'd prefer to suffer my last days than be put to sleep. I just dunno what she would prefer. I guess... if they say she needs to be put down, if she seems calm enough, I'll let it be done. But if she just wants to get in the carrier and be brought home then I'll do that. Maybe?
And, I definitely am going to need my teeth whitened up after the braces. i bet I'll have little white squares or something. I drink too much soda, which I'm not suppooosed to. But I love carbonation in my drinks. I think I might need glasses soon... but I think my left eye would be a blank, cuz so far it's fine, but my right eye is quite blurry... XP

D= poor kitty. I know how it feels to lose a pet, so I really hope your cat pulls through.
random story: when my first pet died (Katie, she was a birdie) I found her coming home for lunch to let bandit out (he was just a lil puppy then, so he couldn't hold it all day) I picked her up and went hysterical for a little bit...for the last couple weeks she had bad diarrhea, so as you can imagine...she wasn't all that clean...and all I could think was "I don't want her to be buried like this" so i tried to wash it off of her...then I bawled and cradled her for another hour or so...and then randomly decided I should probably go back to school. When I got back, my teacher bitched me out SOOOO hardcore...and I bawled my face off...imagine how bad she felt when I sputtered out "m...my b-b-b-bird's *deeeeeep breath* deaaaddd! D'=" And then...like the b***h that this one chick is...she goes "Wtf...it's just a ******** bird." I had Katie for 9 years...I got her when I was 3. It was tough. The thing is....we were going to take her in the next day to put her down, because she was just so miserable and you could tell it was time. I was kind of glad though that she could pass in the comfort of her own home. I just feel bad for my other bird Pepper...cause they had such a tight bond that Pepper ended up dying a couple months later from grief and such.
Sorry if that depressed anyone.

Damn Your poor birds. x.x I hate when people say things like that "It's just a *insert animal* I had a pet rat that I cried about when it died, and unfortunately I had to watch it die that was sad and happened way too fast. It doesn't matter who or what it is, they're all living things that you care for.
I'm taking my cat today to the vet later in the afternoon. Hopefully we'll get some good news and she'll be okay. If not, then I don't know what I'll do.

Okay so took her to the vet, he was feeling her and said he felt something that was possibly a tumor and we NEEDED to do blood work and x-rays. So she's staying overnight (Which I feel bad about but my kitty will get over it. It's for her life after all) He seemed to want the blood work done as soon as possible which is scary but I'm glad he's focusing so much on my cat, I guess?
Since he didn't feel it last time at the vet, I'm hoping we've caught this probably tumor early enough that surgery can fix her up. But of course my mom was complaining about if she does need surgery that the Christmas money will be all gone. But my brother is willing to give all his money in his bank ($160) to this surgery, and I'm willing to give my $156 as well as the $300 Semok mailed me.
So hopefully we can do this if she needs surgery. And I don't even want to think about if it's too late. xd

Dude your mom's crazy.
Euthanasia is for a reason: it's because the cat is suffering to the point that humans think it's UNBEARABLE to watch them die, and when there's beyond a reasonable doubt that the cat WILL die from the sickness. Euthanasia is completely acceptable.
Why keep a suffering cat? It's hurts you more than it hurts to euthanize them. They're miserable, you're miserable, and when they look at you, in there eyes, it looks like true suffering.
Vet's don't just 'murder' pets at the sight of sickness. My rabbit had cancer in his mouth, and they wouldn't euthanize him until he wasn't able to eat, not eating, and the cancer moved to the other areas of the body. THAT is beyond a reasonable doubt, my friend. The cancer was the size of a freakin baseball, and he freaking SCREAMED when he tried to lay down. Rabbits don't have a voice, so that's saying alot.
~Please hold while I read the second part~
MMKAY!
That's sweet! No headgear? Lucky me though I didn't have to wear any headgear... but... I'm currently on my 5th year of braces...
That's sweet though!
And, I've had my fair share of pet deaths too. My Dominant Degu I WATCHED him push a metal pipe onto my other Degu's head... Fricken murderer, he killed the lowest of the ranking. I call him the murderer... uh... good thing he died next... ANYWAY my last Degu is probably going to die VERY soon because Degu's can't live alone, they kill themselves. Truly, their life has been... a tragedy.
My FIRST Guinea pig had a stroke... she became paralyzed from the neck down, and died within a day.
My SECOND guinea pig had a stroke... she became paralized from the neck down, and died within a day. (Not joking)
Still living: A 6 yr old cockatiel (Life expectancy, 18-20yrs) , a 2 yr old Newfoundlander (Life expectancy 8-12 yrs) , a 7 yr old Rabbit (Life expectancy, 3-5 yrs) A 1/2 year old guine pig (Life expectancy 2-5 yrs) 5 yr old Degu (Life expectancy 2-4 yrs)
Anyway... I hope you get your cat to the vet, because she PROBABLY won't be euthanized, that stuff is expensive, they don't go around saying, 'Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, dead, ALIVE? Whaaaat?'
Seriously, she shouldn't worry.
No headgear YAY!

Jeez o.O I only need two years of braces and one year is already done, so there's only one to go.
I'm so excited to go pick up my cat... later in the morning that I like... can't sleep, even though I need to get up at around 7-7:30. x.x I'm missing her so much already that I keep hearing/seeing her when she's not really there. xD;;;
My uncle today said it could be that there's a big ball of hair in her stomach. But... I think that would have also blocked her from peeing and all that... So it's most likely a tumor. But if it is just hair then I think I'd be quite happy... but, right. I'll find out soon... sooooon.... 6 more hours. XD

I have to go to the vet tomorrow too. xD But just to pick up my dog's painkillers. And then I have to go pick my sister up from school. It's two hours there each way. I have a very busy day tomorrow and I know as soon as I get home, I'm going to crash. Hard.
