There has been some dissatisfaction in the guild over crew status / lack of crew status, not using crew powers, etc etc, of late.

Here is my solution.

I am going to demod everyone tonight.

A lot of people don't care about being crew at all anymore, but I know that a few of you do because you feel it's useful or makes you feel special, and I can understand that. So, if you would like to have crew status, post here.

I will be very liberal with the number of people I put on crew, but before giving anyone crew status I will watch their activity/behavior in the guild for a period of most likely 2-3 weeks, and then make a judgement on whether or not I think I can trust them with crew status. (I know, this is sort of unneccessary for most of you, but I'm trying to be fair to everyone in the guild, so you're starting with a blank slate.) If you're completely new to the guild, I suggest you wait at least a month or so before applying for crew status, as it is most unlikely that I'll promote you if I don't feel that I can judge your character.

If you disagree with my decision, feel free to ask me about it, but do not try to argue your case. I'll be doing my best to be fair and I really don't think anyone will have much to complain about, I'm really not a hardass, so please don't give me a lot of flak if I don't let you on crew. I'll allow people I turn down to reapply after a month's time.

Also it is very important that anyone on crew have no delusions about their status. In this guild, being on crew does not give you a leadership position. You may use your crew powers in jest for powerabuse (that sticky will be remade with the first new crew appointments), invitations, or for simple cleanup tasks like duplicate posts. But please, leave any other enforcing up to me and the vice captain, should I appoint one. Note that this doesn't mean you have no voice in guild matters - I encourage you to take any issues or suggestions you have for the guild right to me via PM or IM. :3

If I should feel the need to give certain crew members authority, I will do so. I think everyone realized that when Red was running the show, I was second in command, so nothing official needed to be done about that. Now... things aren't so clear, even for me. I'm not sure who I want to go to, I love all you guys. <3

Anyway, hopefully this will appease the majority, eh?

I would like crew status, should you decide to appoint crew members again.

I'd like to reapply for crew status, though if my being absent for periods of time will be a problem then don't worry about it. I'm not too certain when school will be demanding a lot from me and when it won't.

Crew status please! I might want to invite someone.
