used to play pokemon all the time( all the way from red(GBC) to Pearl(DS) ) But then I realized, the story repeats itself from every game. It would be nice if they made a 3d type environment of a pokemon game.
What I mean is, Control you pokemon around a small fighting circle telling your pokemon what to do in a 3D environment. Walk around the whole map of the continent your on in 3D. That's what I wish would happen, It just tends to repeat itseld in its own 8-bit graphics. neutral

I agree, though they did make an attempt at 3D in Pokemon Colliseum, though that was, from what I remember, basically just the 8-bit pokemon, rendered in 3D with some mini-games...

There are 3-d installments of Pokemon. They're not the main series, but they are their own stories. Pokemon Snap, Pokemon stadium, Pokemon Coliseum, Pokemon XD and Pokemon Battle Revolution are all 3-d renderings of the Pokemon world. Not to mention Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, and Soul Silver pretty much all dropped the 8-bit act and are rendered almost completely in 3-D save for the battles and cut scenes which are just really pretty paintings /pokemon dork :B
